Obviously in a functioning team that can progress the ball well and play through midfield, you wouldn't want your wide players dropping deep all the time but we're not that.It is, because it doesn't help us create scoring opportunities. He's meant to help us hold the ball higher up the pitch and be creative. If he just comes deep to get on the ball, he vacates his position that's meant to be occupying - no one is filling it and just let's the opposition get behind the ball.

Yes. Really like what I've seen so far. He plays like a decent footballer. He's shown decent skill, workrate, game intelligent, movement, and passing. And that after playing so little game time before.I like him a lot.

If we could go back in time of course we'd never shovel 70m into the furnace the way we did with Antony, but he's here now and he's unsellable so let's use him as best as we can as a backup for Amad.
