On flames tonight, good for him.
He’s had one good performance since he went back to Dortmund, along with a load of average and poor ones.
He has to keep this up so we collect a £60m total package from Dortmund for him and move on. He lost all goodwill when he decided to spend 5 months doing nothing at home while the team suffered through an injury crisis. Good riddance.
PSG would probably opt for him over Rashford at this stage.

Refereeing is different. Beyond that, Manchester United is a talent black hole. If you had peak Messi, after a year you'd be selling him back to Argentina
Considering the dire state of our team, the huge amount of investment needed, I would like to see him have another chance. There are too many positions to improve already
3 goals and 2 assists in 17 games, with many of those being his typical average or below average United performances so far at Dortmund.

He was out of football for a while. Now playing himself back to form under a club known for developing/managing players
The funny thing about Dortmund is if you look at their squad on an individual basis, it's really not all that impressive. A functional setup can take you a long way, even without the star quality.
I now dislike him as much as I detested Di Maria after his United spell. Sancho just did not care in a United shirt. I hope he drives uo his price and someone takes him off our hands
The problem with ten Hag, as we've seen since being Sancho-less, is he's made a lot of mistakes and left numerous players' noses out of joint, at the time of the set-to with Sancho, the favouring of Antony so that Sancho wasn't getting a fair crack, or parity in terms of PT and opportunities to impress, or even to make mistakes, created a massive fissure. Some players will keep schtum, but others won't and I think the combination of distrust and a bad attitude created dynamite and a unrepairable relationship. Since then, the manager has repeated the same cycle with Amad, getting throwaway minutes compared to Antony, but with a different temperament, Amad takes his lumps, but will probably leave if ten Hag stays over the summer.
I really think a lot went on that we're not privvy to from the off and that Sancho mentally checked out with that. Is it wrong? Yes, but I think shrewder handling resolves a lot of this blown out of proportion nonsense and we don't have this scenario with what should be an £80m asset.
It also seems like we didn't do due dilligence when it comes to background checking the player. He left City, even with Pep there when he felt underappreciated. Nevermind Dortmund, the profile has always been apparent and it doesn't seem like we were aware of that.
The whole thing seems off to me. Concessions and adaptation on both sides was always necessary, instead, neither side gave an inch, which is bizarre when you slap over £70m down on a player.
Literally everyone can see this this apart from deluded top reds who can't bring themselves to admit they were wrong about ETH.
I don't give a flying f**k how well he plays for Borussia Dortmund, he's shown he doesn't have the testicular fortitude to play for United, and that's never going to change.

How so? There might be many reasons that it didn't work while he was playing with Utd, I don't think there's anything wrong with saying he played well tonight though, and it goes some way to showing he's not a shit or lazy player which is what a lot of people thought.
He was exceptional tonight. No idea how he's played in his other dortmund games as this is the first time i've watched him since he went on loan, but tonight he was quality. Very far away from anything he ever showed here.
Fair enough, yes I agree he played well, which sell or keep can only be a good thing for United.
Yea I often say that players like Iniesta would be sold for peanuts here, or players like Xavi. We are so 1 dimensional with our thinking, that passing players, or linkup players are not valued, just like Carrick.

That game tonight was every bit high intensity, high tempo, tightly fought with plenty of aggression, that you would see in a top EPL clash, with both teams going for it.
If Sancho can so confidently and enjoyably handle that, he could handle the Premiership and perform just as well here.

Yep. Xabi Alonso, Carrick, Busquets or whoever - we'd stick them in Casemiro's role and complain that they're washed up when they don't cover 15km a game
Thought he had a good game but Hargreaves and Ferdinand hyping him up beyond belief.

These things can change (with hopefully a new coaching team). He cost too much and is way too young to not have a "2nd" chance. Our team is already devoid of technical ability as is
