Xabi Alonso is no doubt a good manager but he's barely had a couple of seasons. To put him at 3, above Ancelotti, reeks of recency bias.
Weird one as it seems to be a mix of current top performance whilst also considering historical performance. Not very consistent.

Such an easy job. They must have the giggles as they troll the Internet and make money off their endeavour.
Klopp could easily have gone to Bayern, PSG or Real Madrid and vultured league titles. Heck just avoiding the machine that is Pep would easily add 6-7 league titles to his CV. Klopp is much better at building a squad from nothing than any coach in history. The guy rejuventated two major dead clubs on a budget by himself and turned his 2nd division hometown team into a Bundesliga stable. He has literally never failed at a club, which is something probably only Pep can claim, who has always worked on the biggest budgets.
Think the top 4 is on point. Real Madrid is incredible but it is not really a "manager team" in the same way City, Liverpool and Leverkusen are. They live off individual class and mentality more than a overarching playing style and tactical nous. Don't know why Emery is 5th over Arteta though. If we are going by this season, Hoeneß should be higher as well. Flying under the radar but Stuttgart's journey since last season is astonishing. If it's not only this season, then Xavi and Tuchel are underrated. Wouldn't blame Tuchel for Bayern's implosion this season, IMO, or Xavi for Barcelona's underwhelming results.
