Billy Joel - Always a Woman

Bruce Springsteen - Thunder Road

I fecking love Thunder Road. I was going to put The River in as well, but it was released in 1980 or 1980, but I think it was written in 1979. :(

This list was incomplete without some (early-ish) Stevie Wonder
Plus we also need some Otis...
Brilliant choices, thanks for your contribution.

Billy Joel - Always a Woman

Bruce Springsteen - Thunder Road

Excellent additions.

We'll make an exception in this case. ;)

Bruce Springsteen - The River

Surely one of the best songs ever. It makes me :(

"Now I just act like I don't remember, Mary acts like she don't care..."

Before I started listening to Bruce, I read that it was one of the greatest songs and then I listened to it and was pretty underwhelmed, but after another listen I couldn't get enough.

"You ain't a beauty, but hey, you're alright" Love it!

He's playing a relatively small gig in Belfast in July, but I can't talk anyone into going with me. The fact that the tickets are £100 doesn't help. Someone needs to go with me!!
