2018 US Elections

And she didn't just win, she destroyed the guy.
Cortez is one of those rare few candidates that makes me feel all giddy when I see her speak. Intelligent, well spoken, seemingly very approachable and tons of charisma. I hope she is given the opportunity to shine before becoming corrupted by politics all together.

I don't care if she is too young and inexperienced. I would love to see her running for 2020 with sanders as VP

Is it too out there to suggest that Mitt Romney will become a thorn in trump's side in the Senate now that he has an opportunity for some payback?

He’s going to be one of Trump’s biggest supporters. They’ve got breathing space in the senate now so no one or two senators has that much leverage anymore. Individuals will have to kiss the ring and work harder for their team to earn leverage.

Pelosi xhould be passing that gavel from Ryan to Schiff so we can start fecking people up.

Where you there after Trump got elected and invited dear Mitt and fecked him off? Watch Mitt Romney completely bend over for Trump
He had no power back then meaning he had no meaningful voice. No doubt he was kissing arse looking for a job but what I'm saying is that if he wanted to make life uncomfortable for a guy he seemed to loathe before 2016 no is the time.

Trump hates Romney. Romney will suck Trump's little finger.

you are welcome dr. fingers. not surprised jealous lost, the centrist dems didnt support him and happily voted republican
I’m from Maryland, and Larry Hogan was the only Republican that I wanted to win. Ben Jealous wouldn’t be a good governor.

It’s not the party of Reagan anymore, it’s the party of Trump. With the state of the map in 2020 when GOP have to defend everywhere, they won’t risk pissing off Trump.

At this point, I doubt impeachment is possible even if a tape of Trump being buggered by Putin surfaces.

Please can someone get this embarrassing, stuttering old lady off my telly.

Oh, it's Nancy Pelosi.

Let's hear it for Pre-existing medical conditions?

Wtf? Just retire and step aside, and stop talking bollocks too.

Yeah just refreshed now. That was at 50 something precincts reporting.

Dude, that's not refreshing, that's depressing as hell. Refreshing would be reading "Steve King loses seat and is attacked and eaten by a flock of angry crows and black cats when leaving his home"

I live in Maryland myself. Jealous would have moved the state toward recreational marijuana very quickly but other than that Hogan is the better choice for Governor. I've met him a number of times and he is a decent guy who gives a shit. Still a part of that stinking party but we have a good thing going in this State.

giddyup is never allowed to complain about me not voting for hillary again. he supports a republican ffs
You have a serious problem. This country doesn't revolve aroun who give you a hard on.

Are we not supposed to talk about the fact that a Republican dead pimp in Nevada won the Congressional race against a Democrat?

Thanks Eboue.

Ben Jealous lost?
Hogan was going to win no matter who he went against. He's massively popular here.

Ojeda lost. Disappointing.

The real race in Maryland is can Hester unseat that clown Bates (who has the lowest environmental rating in the state). Neck and neck

I have to say that the BBC coverage has been pretty biased towards Trump the Republicans and right wing tonight. Maybe not so much the presenters themselves, but definitely the guests and US reporters/political commentators/experts. This (Ex) Governor Jim Gilmore is an absolute thundercnut of an excuse for a human.

Also, I played "Grass roots" bingo where each time it was mentioned I had a drink. I'm dead now and am posting from the other side. I've only been watching for about 45 minutes.
