The irony is Martial did neither. So you can be terr
Running around is BS. Performing to a reasonable standard consistently is what's required.
And no way Sanchez did that. Manager playing favourites is never going to get the best out of a squad
As a spokesperson for the Marouane Fellaini appreciation society that's my jobYou’re obsessed with him.
Weird society, altogether. As a spokesperson for the Marouane Fellaini appreciation society that's my job
It is isn't it.Yeah but that kit is fecking grim mate.
Here he is, the buff mofoIs this true? Seriously! I need to see a video to believe it!
The irony is Martial did neither.
Thanks for clearing that up
Are they positives? YesI'm growing kind of sick of the constant doom and gloom on the forum around literally everything about the club. It's toxic and breeds negativity.
Let's list some of the positives we have looking into the new season..
1) We still have the best goalkeeper in the world.
2) We have a bang in form world cup winning Paul Pogba.
3) Fred looks the ideal piece of the midfield jigsaw. Excited to see what he brings.
4) Lindelof had a great world cup. Seems to have gone under the radar of many.
5) We will surely see more from a fully refreshed Alexis Sanchez.
6) Lukaku is maturing into a monster. At times inconsistent but more often than not unplayable. Think he'll have a great season.
7) Martial seems happy and rumours have died down. Mourinho has spoken positively about him.
8) New coaching staff, fresh ideas for Mourinho and familiarity with Carrick. McKenna is a bright young coach and think the dynamic is intriguing.
9) Dalot. Reminds me of a Fergie signing and that can only be a good thing.
10) Deadwood being moved on. Loved Blind but needed to move him on. Others will follow.
11) The window is not closed. As others go out and free up the wage bill new faces will come in. Stop panicking.
12) Shaw has got abs. It's his season.
I think it will be his last season here.I think a few of you will be disappointed if Mourinho doesn't lose his mind this season.
TbfHow has liverpool magically jumped past us. They are still a side that's not deep and not good at all at defending, additionally their style is all out attack which leaves them further open and they'll drop those random points against teams that find a way through that gaping back door. Oh, now is the time where we talk about their savior goalie.
I understand there are positions that we could improve BUT as you say Swansons, there's not always a world class player easily bought to plug and play... BUT the rest of the world have deficiencies as well. No team save maybe Barc and Madrid are quality throughout the team. Maybe include Bayern as well. But we're at least close and have players in the squad that were bought or brought up through the program that have that promise and have shown top level potential.
We were way off City in a year where everything went right for them. I prefer to look on the optimistic side of things. Additionally, we always have a war chest to spend IF someone is available and Woodward has shown willingness to acquire. So the glass is half full for me.
tbh that's still pathetic physique for a professional footballer, I look like that with little exerciseHere he is, the buff mofo
That makes no sense. City have gone through plenty of managers and they're doing fine. It's not like any of the best teams in Europe have a long term manager, apart from atletico. Our problem isn't changing managers, it's changing one dull negative manager for another.I think it will be his last season here.
But honestly don't think there's any other available manager who would supposedly fix us.
We have seen that chopping and changing managers doesn't necessarily work.
But surely you've got to keep trying to find the right fit until it works, no matter how many managers you get through.I think it will be his last season here.

Este. I fear a calamitous season ruining parting will splinter this season.13) Mourinho is in third year. It's almost over.
That's we did after Sir MattBut surely you've got to keep trying to find the right fit until it works, no matter how many managers you get through.
Show us your pics. Shaw clearly has a body type that carries more fat in certain areas. You can tell because his abs are visible but his chest doesn't have matching definitiontbh that's still pathetic physique for a professional footballer, I look like that with little exercise
I agree with you @SwansonsTache . We certainly need that magician on the RW as well as proper full backs, or we will not be challenging for honours this season.I think we are tactically behind as well. A couple of new players won't magically make us look less disjointed in attack.
But just for discussions sake, let us say we are only a few players away from challenging, where do we go from there? We need an absolute top RW, top fullbacks and one top CB - where do we find these guys? I can't see any available candidates, and we're not linked to anyone either. We will not challenge City, and perhaps next season even Liverpool, with our current set of FB's, CB's and lack of RW, and the same certainly goes for Europe.
I don't know, I think most people will be realistic, but we'll need to see the entertaining style we all want trying to be implemented, plus Jose for all his faults will leave the squad in a far better place than it has been for a while, so there should be no need to rip it up all over again. That's we did after Sir Matt
I'm not saying Jose hasn't had problems but I'm saying that there is no magic cure.
@AndyJ1985 mentions City but that just reinforces my point. Our club is one structured towards one central figure, the manager unlike Chelsea and City .
City for example had different managers before Pep but it was an open secret that they were building a team for him. We don't have that sort of continuity. Van Gaal came here, sold the lot and replaced them with even bigger duds. I just think a lot of people are in for a rude awakening even when Jose leaves.
There lies the problem.I don't know, I think most people will be realistic, but we'll need to see the entertaining style we all want trying to be implement, plus Jose for all his faults will leave the squad in a far better place than it has been for a while, so there should be no need to rip it up all over again.
I sincerely believe that the club needs to get away from the manager-oriented leadership that we have been applying historically. It disrupts the continuity and the performance of the players way too much to change managers the way we have been doing after SAF; if the manager has total control over playing style and transfers at least. It worked under SAF, because he was who he was. That type of governance over the sporting side of the club is and should be a thing of the past. But surely you've got to keep trying to find the right fit until it works, no matter how many managers you get through.
Agree. Think we have to ride this one out and see who's available then. Hopefully he'll be able to get more out of the team than he has up till now.I think it will be his last season here.
But honestly don't think there's any other available manager who would supposedly fix us.

We're fighting for the title this season, regardless of all this doom and gloom on here.I think a few of you will be disappointed if Mourinho doesn't lose his mind this season.
I hope so, dearWe're fighting for the title this season, regardless of all this doom and gloom on here.
Your tagline suits youYou bunch of miserable cnuts. Feck off.
He's clearly trying his best, so he needs to be cut some slack, if he's given the chance then I'm a firm believer that he can still make it here.tbh that's still pathetic physique for a professional footballer, I look like that with little exercise
I second this. You bunch of miserable cnuts. Feck off.
So does yours, boring and blandYour tagline suits you
Didn't take long to forget LVGs style of play? That was far worse. The main positive for me is that surely the football can’t possibly be as boring as it was last season.
I wouldn't call it pathetic but it's not some impressive turnaround and unlike @Greck I believe you, similar for me (and while I write that I am eating fast food). Think this physique is pretty common and achievable with minimal effort. But the photo is pretty grainy and doesn't give a great indication either.tbh that's still pathetic physique for a professional footballer, I look like that with little exercise
There’s @TheReligion I know. The positive op was throwing me off there. You bunch of miserable cnuts. Feck off.
