I don't know why, but I still look forward to this fixture more than any other - even Liverpool and/or City.

I would take a draw all things considered, but I don't think a win is beyond us either.

Excited to see how Martial handles the occasion today. He's passed almost every test so far with flying colours.
If there's game, I would back him up to do well at, it's Arsenal. Their high line and the space they give you at the back is almost tailor made for him for a player like him. A bit reminiscent of how much Drogba enjoyed playing against them so much. Having said that, of course he might simply not perform well which wouldn't be really strange for someone his age.

Going to be tough, sanchez will be a handful for smalling and blind.

    Think it'll be a draw.

Under the duvet, with a laptop.
I've picked Blind Jones Smalling and Darmian as our starting back four - call me crazy, but I don't relish seeing Young or Valencia standing in as defenders against Arsenal. Young on the bench to come on if necessary to replace Memphis if he under-performs, or in defence if things really do go bad on the left seems a better option to me, but I'm hoping Jones and Blind should handle it. Can't wait to see Louis van Gaal's team sheet.

That's exactly what I've gone with and for the same reasons.

That's my back 4 too, but I would play Young instead of Memphis, he offers better protection for Blind down the left, and Memphis is not playing that well anyway.

I'm gonna be proactive and beg for a stream already.

Please PM me a decent flash-based stream (can't install programs on my work laptop).

I think Blind at LB against Bellerin's pace will be an instant weakness.
I'd be surprised if he plays there.

    What we should go with:

    -------------De Gea------------
    ---------------------------------
    -----Smalling----Rojo----------
    Darmian-------------------Blind
    ----------------------------------
    --------Herrera---Carrick-------
    ----------------------------------
    Valencia-----Mata---------Young
    ----------------------------------
    ------------Martial---------------

What we will go with, because LVG never learns:

    --------------De Gea----------------
    --------------------------------------
    ------Smalling---Blind--------------
    Valencia---------------------Darmian
    ---------------------------------------
    --------Carrick---Morgan-------------
    ----------------------------------------
    Mata---------Rooney---------Memphis
    -----------------------------------------
    --------------Martial-------------------

-LVG needs to admit that the Blind at CB experiment is a failure
-I think Memphis should've been worked into the squad slowly instead of immediately displacing Young, who was great last season. Becoming more and more clear that Memphis is not EPL-ready yet
-Pains me to say it but Rooney is not helping our cause in the 10, Mata is better suited there.
-Going on the last point, we want Mata on the field but not out wide, rather see the much stronger, much faster Valencia get a chance to cause some problems out wide.
Worst post of the week goes too...

    Seriously, awful stuff.

Good team, Carrick and Schweinsteiger seems to be the duo van gaalvwants in big games. Worked really well against Liverpool, arsenals a whole other matter though.
