Bellamy's interview.. wtf was that all about?

I'm pretty sure you threw a teeny little fit because we were judging him for being a cnut and you claimed real men don't grass or don't judge or don't do something odd like that...some weird man code that didn't touch upon fecking your best friends baby moma at any rate....

Because if we started a new thread every time Bellamy acted like a tit, every second thread would be about Bellamy.

Someone bumped the old thread for some reason, I made a new one and it got merged into the Wales one, oddly enough. I tell you, I nearly swerved off the road when I found out about the merging - I even thought about leaving the fecking caf!

Craig Bellamy on the Terry/Bridge situation: "You guys make a lot more of it. I know what JT is like and nothing surprises me about him. Everyone knows what he's like. But that's off the pitch. On it he's an outstanding player and a great captain."

Pot Kettle Black

What a cnut! "He is not good enough to score" ? What the hell was that? Bellamy is officially my most hated player of all time.

Today, I learnt that Bellamy is actually a really likeable bloke.

I am now fond of him.

What the feck has happened to the world?

Terry blasts back at Bellamy after City star's verbal attack
Published 23:00 28/02/10 By Martin Lipton

Furious John Terry is gunning for Craig Bellamy after the Welsh hitman’s drive-by verbal shooting.

Bellamy added insult to Terry’s injuries as he launched an astonishing public assault on the Chelsea skipper’s character after inspiring Manchester to their 4-2 win at Stamford Bridge.

Asked if the feud between Terry and Wayne Bridge had galvanised City, Bellamy said: “I know what John Terry is like and nothing surprises me about him.

“I think everybody in football knows what the guy’s like off the field.”

It was a savage attack on Terry, which came after Bellamy had already shown his disrespect for the Chelsea captain before kick-off.

Although, unlike Bridge, Bellamy did shake Terry’s hand in the pre-match line-up, he pointedly refused to look at the Chelsea captain as he did so, muttering that he had no wish to face the defender.

But it was the post-match insult that riled Terry, who wore a face like thunder as he patrolled the Stamford Bridge tunnel area after the match.

Clearly outraged, Terry restricted himself to a single comment but the intensity of his gaze illustrated his burning anger.

“I’ve heard what he said,” Terry replied when asked. “And people in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. That’s all I want to say.”

Terry’s woeful weekend darkened further as Fabio Capello made it crystal clear the disgraced England skipper has no chance of regaining the captaincy while the Italna remains Three Lions chief.

Capello said: “As long as I am England manager, I don’t think John Terry will be captain again. I expect my captain to be responsible to children and for the fans. I told him all of this.”

I cant say I recall Bellamy cheating on his team mate's girl, so no JT your wrong, so heres a big feck you!

...Hang on, have I just gone through some sort of time and space dimension? I find myself defending Craig Bellamy?

Think Bellamy's hilarious personally. Obviously he's a bit of twat but it's pretty funny all the same.

Bellamy comes a cross as a genuinely honest and likeable bloke who's a hot headed twat on the pitch

Terry comes across as a twat who's a twat

You mean apart from when he's battering people round the head with a golf club? :D

Which is worse? Sleeping with your friends ex-girlfriend? Or assaulting your friend with a golf club?

I don't see why we have to choose between them really - let's face it, they're both twats.

I think battering is an exaggeration..it clearly wasn't that violent or significant or they wouldn't have played together and joked about it the next week against Barca (if you batter someone about the head with a golf club they're rarely fit to play a football match ..let alone completely un scared by it)...And I'd say option a) carrying on a affair whilst married with twins, with the recent ex and current mother of your best mates child is worse than temporarily being hot headed and rather lightly hitting someone with a golf club whilst wound up

Plus he does lots of selfless work for charity ...he's clearly a nicer person than Terry regardless of his often stupid anger problems really. When you watch interviews with some of these people we assume are cnuts it's fairly easy to see how decent some of them really are in actual life....Drogba for example came across brilliantly in an interview I watched on italian TV before the CL final, where he praised us and several adversaries as well as being very humble so it doesn't surprise me at all to find out he has a Foundation too...John Terry Charity search results on the other hand comes up with one article about a visit he paid to Cancer research on behalf of the England Team for the Bobby More Foundation...the most basic of basic deeds the England captain should expect to do.

But to be really honest, none of us know either of these people well enough to make a proper judgement. Terry just seems like far more of a selfish, idiotic twat

There was nothing remotely "astonishing" or "savage" about what Bellamy said.

If he had punched Terry and then pissed all over him as he was lying on the ground....then it would be astonishing and savage.

And merited.

Except when he's also racially abusing people in the street/beating up team mates/ calling Rio fecking shite etc

It would appear people have selective amnesia...but it's OK they are "genuinely honest" reactions.

Bellamy makes Bowyer appear like Gandhi and Mandela rolled into one

Now lets not go too far...
