Wasn't meant as an excuse, of course he should have grown up by now. Think he's a selfish clown without any discipline.
Wasn't suggesting you were making excuses for him, but the bolded bit literally describes what a wanker is, or a cnut as @Feed Me points out.

It‘s funny how they are sticking with a guy who’s extremely prone to injuries, incredibly undisciplined and honestly not good enough to justify his antics, while they sold Angeliño to Leipzig, who is looking worldclass.
Angelino is much better as a wingback (doesn't need to worry much about defending) than the member of a back 4. But he's not good enough to warrant City playing with wingbacks to accommodate him.

Sure. But on the other hand, Pep also played with an incredibly offensive minded Dani Alves and it worked quite well. Angeliño is simply the better player and much more reliable than Mendy.
And he was already best utilised as a wingback before they bought him. So they either got a guy they never needed and sold him, or they got a guy they could use, but sold him for someone worse and less reliable. Just another very weird transfer for them.

Yep I agree with all of this. He's still on loan or is it a permanent transfer?

Is it just me or is there a chronic lack of discipline across the City squad?

Why are people not asking questions of City, Pep and the ownership in terms of their control of the dressing room?

Do our resident City fans have a view on this?
He's an absolute cretin with entourage full of similar or even bigger idiots. It's funny but when Soriano, Txiki etc. arrived there were always leaks justifying their decisions. Like that Mancini didn't say "hello" to kitmen and Balotelli this or that but some of the people they hired since that and their lack of human qualities is absolutely shocking. Anyway... They'll send Mendy on loan somewhere and pay 80% of his wages until his contract expires.

Angelino's good if you play 3 at the back and that's something Pep tries only 2-3 times a season for whatever reason. City also have a very talented right-back in Porro (2-year loan to Sporting) but he also looks more like a wing-back.

I think Leipzig have an option to buy. And in that case it’s clear they’ll activate it, because the guy is incredible.

Best full-back in Bundesliga by far...

This is the same idiot who was hogging the World Cup when he never even played a minute. While the some of the ones that played every minute were modestly stood at the back. Knew he was a clown then.

He was lethal LB a few years ago under Pep, but then the injury happened. And it seemed that his mentality changed as well. He has won quite everything and if we take a look at his mindset and attitude, then I'd recommend him to move into entertainment business and invest his football earnings into someplace else. He is more of a showbiz guy than a footballer.

Imagine what United would look like if he'd teamed up with JLingz, Pogba and Martial? This quartet had its own TV-show.

Are there enough "big booty Latina girls" in Manchester that you can just order them from Ubereats?

Wasn't like that last time I went there!
They should be worried about catching more than Covid off these Latina girls! Now Cavani got a three match ban for tweeting in his own language something that was deemed offensive which was a bit like calling a mate a lucky Cnut. He didn’t put anybody’s life in danger or break the law. I wonder how the FA and PL will handle this Mandy incident. I’ll tell you. Their eyes will light up at the prospect of money money money, same as Cavani‘s charge. They will fine him (City who will pay it) £100,000 and ban him for one match. In short, no punishment at all. City should sack him if they have any morals, it’s not as if he plays every week or is that good.

I normally don't like going in on olayers for stuff they do off the pitch. Your team has had matches postponed due to the outbreak and you think it is okay to host a party.
He has no regard for his club, the public or even himself.

What is it with this sex pest obsessed club? I’m sure I read a couple of years back some club officials arranged some Bunga Bunga style party at some hotel with escorts and Instagram hussies, even some of their wives attended. Weird people.

About time some proper action was taken with this swingers club, disrupting the league too often now. Rotten club.

I'm almost afraid to ask what Bunga Bunga is.

If I were Pep I’d never play him again. I’d be way too emotionally indignant to the fact that this clown is clowning carelessly around with a pandemic going on that 1. more or less shut the entire club down and 2. that killed Peps own mother.

Maybe Pep is a bigger more nuanced man, but God I’d understand it, if he tagged along in the upcoming training just to two foot the moron.

I have understood that Pep hates him and hasn't given any free pass with his antics. I just cannot understand why does he keep Mendy in the team. Isn't selling stupid and immature characters a good boost for team's mentality?

He just comes across as incredibly stupid. He needs to take classes in maturity or something; he's 26 and probably on close to £200k/week doing a job many would die for, why squander it all on stupidity?

Why all the static for him and not for all the other dudes like Regullion etc., even to the point of making up stories about escorts.

Hmmm...

Lethal LB few years ago? When was that?

This is his fourth year and he barely made it to 60 games for City.

Mendy looked so good when he was at Monaco. Such a waste of talent.
Most of that Monaco team looked amazing. Mendy, Sidibi, Lemar, Silva, Bakayoko. Fabinho, Mbappe aside, I think the rest have been underwhelming since

Pep wouldn’t put up with Zlatan, who was a model professional as he felt he was too individualistic and didn’t fit into the team ethos at Barcelona and now he’s reduced to defending this clown.
