Officially the best poker player on RAWK.
There'll be so many missed, but among mine would definitely be Resident Evil 7 VR, Superhot VR, Dead Cells, Breath of the Wild, Bloodborne, Dark Souls 3, God of War and just so many more.

It's been another great decade for gaming, despite the continued rise of shit like micro-transactions and loot boxes in full priced games, and also the likes of soon after release DLC (held back from the main game) and preorder rubbish.

You can pretty easily tell who are the Nintendo boys vs the PS/Xbox/PC crowd haha.

BTW I'll fight anyone who doesn't include The Witcher 3 in their list.

4. Divinity 2
5. Bloodborne
6. Portal 2
7. Overwatch
8. Hearthstone

The last two are by no means perfect but I think I've put the most amount of time into both of them these last few years.
How do you put a lot of time into overwatch? Short game with little replay value.

Is the most childish post in here yet

But strangely, I respect it.

I'm not a massive overwatch fan, but no. Just no.

Feels like I'm the only person in the world who couldn't get into Witcher 3. Going to give it one more try.
The gameplay isn’t that great imo. I also wasn’t really interested in the main plot, maybe because I didn’t play the previous games. I got close to the end and then just stopped playing it. Wouldn’t make my top 10.

There were some really good bits though, and I liked the fact there are no “correct” choices throughout the game.

I'm drawing a blank, and I'm sure forgetting something obvious, but for right now I would say, Cuphead is my fav.

Last Gen Games

Mass Effect 2 and 3
Bioshock Infinite
Dark Souls
NFS: Hot Pursuit
GTA V
Mario Kart 8

Current Gen Games

Bloodborne
Sekiro
Dark Souls 3
God of War
The Witcher 3
Forza Horizon 3 and 4
Red Dead Redemption 2
Uncharted 4
Horizon Zero Dawn
Overwatch

FromSoftware games have really dominated my gaming over the last few years. Dark Souls 2 didn’t quite make the list but it is still a very solid game.

No particular order:

- The Last of Us
- The Witcher 3
- Bloodborne
- Dark Souls
- Mass Effect 2
- Breath of the Wild
- Red Dead Redemption
- Skyrim
- Resident Evil 2 Remake (though RE7 deserves a spot with VR)

There have been many, many more excellent games in what has been a brilliant decade for me, but these are the best I've played.

Am I the only person ever who thought that Mankind Divided was superior to Human Revolution? It has a weaker story for sure (not that HR has a great story in the first place) but the mechanics while similar, were improved and most importantly it didn't use the same dungeon (the sewers) everywhere.
I really liked HR. It felt like fresh, engaging and the story was much stronger. It was able to immerse me. MD was the exact opposite - felt stale, robotic (lol) and unexciting. Objectively there isn't that much between them but I felt MD lacked some life.

I'm on my third playthrough. Don't think I've ever played a game thrice.

Those were my impressions as well, it just didn't feel as exciting as its predecessor. I felt like I was just going through the motions while playing MD. Actually, I had the exact same issue with Dishonored 2 vs 1.

Was the apostrophe there in the title to begin with? I don't think it was because it would have annoyed me and I'd remember it.

dreams can't be buy
yep, briliant. Only game of that sort to keep me involved enough to finish it (and yes i tried to play witcher, gta and RD2 :))
i'd also namePportal 2. And Rocket League
Yeah I've played it a lot, not for story mostly just because I like exploring so much, it's a nice change from the usual American cities in games.

Sleeping Dogs had such a great soundtrack. Budos Band, Menahan Street Band, Sharon Jones. Feckin sweet!
Yeah for sure, Softly radio statioin and some of the more relaxing tracks on Ninja Tune are great for driving in the rain

I'll have you know there has only been one Fallout game in the last 20 years. :nono: ;)

It's New Vegas, before anyone tries some funny business.

 It’s bloody good like. I love 4 though, can’t really explain why but I was hooked from the start really. I was so disappointed that F76 was online only.

Missed this.

1. In terms of sheer amount of time I’ve spent on a game it has to be Skyrim for me. I had 9 weeks off work after a climbing accident in 2012. Literally 9 weeks of Skyrim. Bloody brilliant. Put about 250+ hours in.

Then had knee surgery 2 years later and had another 4 weeks off work. Yep, Skyrim again. Started again and put another 200+ hours in.

Then downloaded the high res PS4 edition last year and did another stint. Just a great game.

2. Close call between The last of us and Uncharted 4. I’m going to plump for Uncharted 4. Just perfect blend of story, graphics and gameplay.

3. The last of us
4. God of War

Other smaller games I’ve loved though:

1. Dear Esther
2. Everybody’s gone to the rapture
3. Firewatch
4. Valiant Hearts - the Great War
5. SuperHot VR
