Been better in the second half. This is how we should be playing at this point with this squad. Keep it steady. Carve out 1 or 2 chances. Reduce their chances. Stop trying to play like we have the players to play good football.

The goals conceded wasn't even some terribly ambitious stuff.

- one was through DDGs fingers
- second was a silly pass from Erikson and bad decision making from DDG
- third was Luke Shaw being a lazy tit
- fourth was our defence being all over the place (May have got third and fourth wrong)

Difference is Brentford don't need to press in the 2nd half.

It is a good lesson for ETH, he knows DDG is shit. He knows Martinez can't play CB, he knows Sancho is ineffective on the right. He knows he can't count of Rashford and Bruno. Hopefully, he learns else we will have a new manager in 2023 or 2024.

Season should have been clearing out all the old deadwood and mediocres and bringing in young talent. Ten Hag show himself in the foot by not listening to Ragnick. Then the season wouod have been uninspiring but at least Ten Hag would have had his whole season shaping the future
