I think it translates as ‘Woodward preparing to consider possibly taking a look at the potential enquiry at some point in the next few years of starting off the process of getting the ball rolling on convening a meeting regarding the possibility of considering visualising what a potential bid for Bruno Fernandez may or may not look like. This flurry of activity will make Ed, already exhausted from concluding the Ashton saga which bolstered the team considerably, rather tired, and he has gone on leave now until May. All enquires to be sent to his colleague, Neil Ashton

So basically he will most likely cost us 60m € in the end.

Looks like it may actually be happening now though

If it happens, 65m€ is a big fee. Hopefully he will be worth it and a little bit more.

PS: Owen could have wrote that one.

We are the absolute nut worst when it comes to transfer dealings.

Just insane how we do things these days.

Ok but by the player’s and club’s admission he wanted to move.

What would the Caf think of we had offered him a new contract? Especially with AWB, Dalot ahead of him and Laird coming through
If we didn't want him then we had the option to let him go and sign other players. Else just let him run down his contract and we keep him till June.

It's 60m€ if we don't qualify for the CL this season which seems likely atm.

je n'approuve pas.

I hope you are joking. 65 m euros is a steal.
65m is rarely a steal. In football it's a lot of money. It's in the top 40 of all time, to justify it you need to have a very solid career.

"Hey Sporting, we will not pay you 70m euros at the start of the window, we would much rather pay you 90m euros at the end of the window."

There's only one United!

I agree with you JP that 65M is a big fee but seeing that the team is drowning so quickly and we did not show any interest in other players, except for the ones the media or Ed put forward, then hopefully we may fight for the fourth place.

Sounds like it's getting to shift change time from the "we're too cheap" moaners, to the "we've paid too much" moaners.

Unfortunately we can only dream about him costing us 80m € at the end. :(

I feel for Bruno, he should've been a United player weeks ago. Woodward/Judge yet again showing their piss poor and totally out of their depth with negotiations.
