The problem is, they have a crap squad, if the new manager bounce doesn't work they'll be languishing in the lower leagues for a long time, especially with all the debt the Americans have pilled on.
I don't like the football Dyche plays but he's got an excellent record in the Championship, even if they did go down surely you'd want him as the manager there. I suspect Burnley will become a textbook example of why LBOs and football are a bad idea, where unlike United they won't have an ever rising stream of income to pay the interest and debt down.
