Can't recall Guardiola ever lying to see a referee retire due to death threats, assault an opposing coach, sick his assistants on referees/opponents ala Faria or confront referees in the parking lot
Boy you really have your tongue punch in Peps fart box real hard.

I don't like Mou claiming City won because of the pen though, show some fecking balls going forward and try making something happen. Everytime United tried it looked dangerous, but apart from the last 3 minutes of the first half no one did. Mou should take a long hard look at his tactics, but ofc this is probably Mou trying to deflect attention away from the team or something.
This has been bothering me to death to since yesterday too, blaming the ref is just so incredibly small time in this instance. But fair is fair, the players genuinely looked pathetic and scared yesterday during big parts the match, on TV it looked like even the crowd felt it.

So it's probably for the best to try and deflect some of the blame on a third party, instead of calling out the players publicly. This current squad losing even more confidence would be an absolute disaster.

People celebrating this, how pathetic and small time  But that's not surprising though, seeing as the Liverpool level of bitterness has been slowly seeping in since United stopped winning as much as they used to.

We didn't need a fight to prove how "hurt" the players were by being outplayed.

Of course they can't, the most disgraceful part is our supporters blasting the club and the team along with the opposition supporters.

When things like that happened during the Arsenal years, everybody was behind the team, even if we were in the wrong, obviously, there are things where we shouldn't be, like racism, cheating .... but in cases like this, you would have all our fanbase behind the team and the club.

Now we have people licking the opposition's arse at every turn, fantasizing about other teams. When before it would have been, “okay, that’s what we have at the moment, Jose as a manager, Lukaku in attack, let’s get behind the team no matter what”. Now we have, “ohhh, I knew Lukaku is shit, we should ship him in January, I wish we signed Morata instead, I wish we had pep, I wish we had Klopp”.

And you have this same people moaning about the lack of fight in the team! Well, when you have a support like we have here in the forum, no wonder that the team is soft. And now that Jose is changing that, putting some fight in them, people moan and say, that’s petty, that’s unsportsmanship. We have Barça supporters coming here to lecture us about sportsmanship when they have one of the most disgusting players in Football in Suarez, when their players cheat left and right to get what they want.

And people mocking Lukaku in this bad period ? really ? a thread about a bust up turned to a thread about Bashing United, Mocking Lukaku and fantisizing about City.

I’ll stop my rant here, need to begin work, but yeah, if anyone should be ashamed today, it’s our supporters and I’m fully behind Jose when he criticize them.

Seems weird and probably blown out of proportion by the media. Wasn’t any real moments of controversy in the game. The only bit was Matic elbowing Silva and KDB and those incidents seemed to get sorted out on the pitch.

Also bar Rojo there isn’t really anyone you’d think is a hot head, can’t see the likes of Mata,Herrera and DeGea throwing punches. Young,Lingard maybe but they seem more like the type that would start something but be the furthest away from it when it happened.

Could certainly see either sides coaching staff starting something tho but then you think of the teams and Lukaku, Matic, Smalling(Judo), Zlatan compared to Silva,Fernandinho,Jesus,Sterling, Otamendi, well it just doesn’t seem like a smart idea.

Perhaps if Mourinho showed some respect before the game, he might have a leg to stand on.

He brings it on himself. I seriously think he'll be gone in a year.

Conte to United?

Unless someone was badly hurt, I really couldn't care less. Sounds like the City players were acting like tits but you know what? I don't see why United players/staff should be rising to it and demonstrating more immaturity after that spineless performance.

With all the cameras in the tunnel, preparing for post-match interviews and the like (as well as every person on earth having a phone in their pocket) I would have thought even some really ropey footage of it would have surfaced. Everyone is more equipped to instantly film something than they were back when the Pizza was flung.

If Conte comes to united I will buy a season ticket just to cancel it again out of frustration.

Lukaku probably tried to launch a bottle at City and hit Mourinho in the head with it.

tbf he was huge for city today
Apparently Lukaku threw a bottle.
And probably missed
I was a staunch defender for Lukaku when his barren run began, but this is getting dire!
In hindsight, Morata to United in the summer would’ve been so much better!!
Watergate will have some suspensions, I’m sure, but maybe we can use this as motivation and create an “Us vs. the World” mentality and go on a long winning streak! —-silver lining in everything, no?

If there's any bottles for chucking, Rojo is your man. What is this the Seige of Old Trafford?

What they need to do now is take their revenge on Bournemouth and West Brom. Give them both a good hiding.

I can recall Guardiola failing two drug tests as a player for using steroids.

A good scrap is not a bad thing, just wish United showed the same fire in larger parts of the game. I hope someone ripped that ridiculous emoticon tattoo of Ederson's neck. Comical looking fecker.

It's better he blame the penalty rather than his £90m striker who can't clear a football or finish an absolute sitter from 6 yards.

We are all hurt, but I don't think this will help anything. It is embarrassing for both teams.

We need to reflect on our own performances in these big games and try to improve our football. I guess getting emotions out could be good, but I would rather us use those to destroy Bournemouth.

No idea what will happen now, but I don't really fear anything since well the league is far away right now.

Anyone having played any type of sport will have encountered high emotions after a game.

Hardly a nuclear war. Some posters need to get off their moral soapbox.

Of course there is high emotions, but you need to be able to deal with that. It is quite easy to just avoid the other teams and moan or feel bad on your own.

Just like we don't want our players to get red cards in the games and go crazy. It is probably similar to what happens on the pitch when players go against each others.

Am i the only one who likes this kind of thing? Not endorsing violence but it adds to rivalry and the entertainment. This was a regular occurance with the early 2000's arsenal team.
I liked it when we were good, seems more petulant and a release of frustration when we were camped on the edge of our box for 90 mins at home

I hope no-one was seriously hurt, but that aside I couldn't care less if there were handbags between players and staff. I couldn't care less if the players and staff don't like each other.

It's a sideshow that will produce some column inches now and provide some extra 'spice' for the papers and Sky in the lead up to our next fixture.

If Jose and the players want to use the fracas as a diversion in public from our poor performance fair enough, I just hope nobody is satisfied in private with what we produced.

The sour grapes of 'not respecting us in victory' that came out of this and Chelsea last season are pretty unedifying, but they pale in comparison to the pathetic football in both cases.

There is also a thing called winning graciously,I am a bad looser but will shake you hand and congratulate you,but you start taunting and rubbing my nose in it then I might react in a different way.
Had the story come out that city were goading united and mourinhio locked the door and left them to it I would be fuming.
If our players felt city were taking the mick then I would expect nothing less than to let them know.
I disagree. I can't dictate some arbitrary definition of classlessness and then hold someone else to it.

I disagree. I hate the application of some arbitrary definition of classlessness as if it's objective truth. City, since the Sheikh money have never really been known for being gracious. Look at Kompany when Fergie was retiring. Struggled to mutter two positive thoughts on the man. For the second year running they beat us at home deservedly and that is more of a concern than their class or lack of it. After we've been beaten we have no right to try to dictate how someone else celebrates. Simply, don't get beaten at home while trying to play possum. Problem solved.

If only we'd shown a bit of fight on the pitch, instead of letting them walk all over us. They won the game they're entitled to celebrate within their own dressing room. And Mourinho has hardly been the most dignified in victory in the past.

I thought we fighted well in the game though. More our tactics that failed big time. I would focus on those parts cause we need to play better.

Mourinho need to look on himself and not always put the blame on something else. I guess that is part of the reason he don't improve his football cause he blame something else thinking his defensive tactics are still the best.
