Ajax having Pasveer and Stekelenburg as 1st and 2nd keeper is baffling. They're not only too old, they've also never been good. Aside from Stekelenburg for 1 summer in 2010.

How’s Palhinha doing?
Doing OK. Ajax have full control of the midfield and aren't really allowing him a lot of time on the ball. He was booked for a late tackle.

Our midfield disappeared late on in that half. Fabinho might've been going to far up the pitch maybe? Weird last 5 minutes. Fell apart.

Whatever Liverpool's dominance, Kessie has been great at keeping them competitive enough

We're playing Esgaio and Neto as CBs in the Champions League

Should concede 3 more in the second half. This is really highlighting our lack of depth, a few injuries and we're in big trouble

Can't argue with that. A spade is a spade.
Everyone's wondered about playing him in midfield, how long before we consider him being a full on RW. His attacking talent is unbelievable, and he'd have pretty much no defensive or positional responsibility.

Trent Alexander-Arnold once again never gets called out for what a defensive mess he is.
Just rewatched the goals with this in mind. Christ almighty, what is he doing? Would be slaughtered on here (righfully) if he played for United.

Pat Nevin at 36 mins of Liverpool game "It should be an embarrassing scoreline already. I'm actually quite shocked at the standard, Milan have been so poor so far.

It's just so messy. I'm looking down trying to see who the skipper is, you need to get involved. There's such a lack of belief from this side."

8 mins later they are winning, commentators curse

Think it was a case of exposing your right flank. Whatever TAA is at attacking, he is not as great a defender as Klopp believes

Yeah he was pretty good at Ajax around 2010, but has never been 1st keeper anywhere after that. And he's really fecking old. And shite.

So you got half of world playing for you, PSG, and still can hold a lead against Brugge? And Liverpool down 1-2 at home against Milan?

Shows you that it is not easy in Champions League. Something that should be said to anti Solskjaer force.

Messi already looks fed up with Herrera's side and back passes

PSG's midfield looks pretty average in terms of creativity

If there isn't already a named condition that has the trait "unable to truly enjoy success unless everyone else gushes with praise at them" then I propose it be called Liverpool FC syndrome.

Every Liverpool fan I know has this.

well that was a pretty abrupt turnaround from Milan getting completely controlled by Liverpool to going 2-1 up at HT

Messi and Neymar have been beyond terrible and they're not tracking back.

Let's see what happens in the second Half
