Ajax were brilliant but something was rotten with Madrid today. Didn't look arsed at all.Congrats Ajax, played us off the park.

Took a deliberate yellow to miss this match and clear his record, iirc. Worked out great! Why? Don't remember first game, something happened there?
You're a bad person!
*Shane LongNo you didn't. They never played together.
Tbf I wanted him here 3 years ago, not now.Don't really understand people who want Bale at United.
This tooSo happy for Blind
They certainly had loads more chances than Spurs, they only lacked the quality to finish you.Spurs 4 - Dortmund 0 over two legs. Dortmund have averaged well over 3 goals per games in recent times. They got none over 2 games against Spurs.
If that's boring, then bring it on.
I would put City and Liverpool as favourites for the trophy now.Atletico are now favourites to win it IMO. If it weren't for Madrid, they'd have won it already, as they're tailor made for this competition. Madrid were as opportunistic as them, but simply had more quality and luck on their side.
Juventus are also that kind of team, but there's a sense of them being lulled into complacency by domestic superiority, and lacking that spark to make it count at the very end, when it really matters.
City are playing the best football in Europe, but teams like them don't thrive in this competition. Guardiola's Barcelona played probably the most dominant football ever, and just managed 2/4.
Barcelona have become more cynical these days, but they're never be true experts at winning ugly, and that's what cups are all about. Can also see Liverpool winning it if they manage to get past Bayern.
But maybe it's time for an unlikely winner and the end of an apparent predictability of latter years. I guess that's the charm of this competition.
He deliberately got booked so he didn’t miss the QF.Why? Don't remember first game, something happened there?
He was channelling his inner NT selfSo many great individual performances, but Dušan Tadić deserves his own fecking thread after tonight's game @Fracture90
What a fecking game!
Seriously? what a plonker, got what he deservedTook a deliberate yellow to miss this match and clear his record, iirc. Worked out great!
Dortmund have won trophies in the last 10 years. How many have Spurs won? None.Spurs 4 - Dortmund 0 over two legs. Dortmund have averaged well over 3 goals per games in recent times. They got none over 2 games against Spurs.
If that's boring, then bring it on.
Eh? Why?Arsenal fans raging right now.
Super Saiyan modeHe was channelling his inner NT self
Amazing performance, shame for that miss, he could have walked with 3 assists!
We're not even favourites to go through to the next round in our tie.I would put City and Liverpool as favourites for the trophy now.
Not to be nagging but we're now in March of 2019.So Modric won the Balon d'or and Varane came in third right?
Seems fair.
I know now, laughed at it, funny. I bet he is sad now.He deliberately got booked so he didn’t miss the QF.
A hugely arrogant and ultimately fatal judgement. Knob.
We were pretty dull tonight in fairness, and have been in our last few games.Spurs 4 - Dortmund 0 over two legs. Dortmund have averaged well over 3 goals per games in recent times. They got none over 2 games against Spurs.
If that's boring, then bring it on.
The legend John O'Brien was on that side(and some guy named Zlatan was on the team too).First quarter final in 16years for Ajax
No they're not.Madrid were awful but can you imagine the faces of Arsenal and Chelsea fans knowing Real are now in Europa too?
This is the second post I have seen saying this.Madrid were awful but can you imagine the faces of Arsenal and Chelsea fans knowing Real are now in Europa too?
