Ah, halcyon days.I remember when WUMing was an art form.

This exactly. But get DiMaria on for him I think. Can't see Radamel getting into the game.Looking at their goal again I think Smalling is at fault too. Probably gets too attracted to Oscar. Herrera should obviously track Hazard.
After seeing the replay, Falcao should be stronger, but it looks a foul.
De Gea should be sent off. 3 is generous. So it's been quite a poor performance by United according to that?
God, I bet you're a barrel of laughs if that's what you took out of that.
I'd take off Mata, IMO. It's almost the only sub we can make to ensure "balance".Di Maria needs to come on, just so we're not so predictable to defend against.
Not sure who he should replace though as I think we need someone a bit more defence minded than ADM in midfield.
Whole team have done their job well. Once Chelsea sorted themselves out we slowed things down giving them the edge. Speed it up, but don't be stupid we are still in this.I think Rooney has played quite well actually. He's looked sharp.
What ifWe would probably have gone through if it had been 11 vs 11. This Chelsea team clearly suffers from complacency.
Harsh, coming on to it on his weaker foot. Not an easy chance at all.Rooney up o is no guarantee. He missed the best chance of the game with lots of space to place the ball wherever he wanted.
I'd be all for thatThis exactly. But get DiMaria on for him I think. Can't see Radamel getting into the game.
It wasn't complacency that lost u that game. It was PSG dominating midfield and defending well.We would probably have gone through if it had been 11 vs 11. This Chelsea team clearly suffers from complacency.
You think Falcao is too weak and yet you want to bring on an even weaker player? This exactly. But get DiMaria on for him I think. Can't see Radamel getting into the game.
Our best player so far probably. Has gone past players with ease, passing been good.I think Rooney has played quite well actually. He's looked sharp.
That dribble in the first half was fantastic. The lad is a proper ball-playing centre half. Hope he can develop into something great.Special mention to McNair. Very calm and composed.
You can't criticise shaw here. He is our new roberto carlos and everything he does is fantastic. Falcao and valencia are players to slay. Try with them. When has he ever done anything good? The guy is literally the most overrated player ever and its now starting to get on my nerves.
If he doesn't go down then he won't get it if it's not given when he does (wow that makes sense)Looking at their goal again I think Smalling is at fault too. Probably gets too attracted to Oscar. Herrera should obviously track Hazard.
After seeing the replay, Falcao should be stronger, but it looks a foul.
I agree. I love that we are going into games now not expecting a mauling! I would rather we lost in style than draw. We're getting there, light years better now than over the last few years.
Yes of course we are by no means the finished article, but it's so so pleasing to watch us play with a system and look like the better footballing team in pretty much every match.
Jesus we're watching 2 very different games!First half ratings:
de Gea - 3
Valencia - 6
Smalling - 3
McNair - 5
Shaw - 7
Rooney - 4
Herrera - 7
Fellaini - 5
Mata - 5
Young - 8
Falcao - 3
Don't worry, the so called experts are gonna make it sound like a master stroke of genius. Barcelona and Bayern are winning their league but actually outplaying opponents whereas our champions have similar quality with the approach of a small club and are being praised for it for some reason. Would be interesting to see how Roman feels about his team playing like this at home.70% possession. Chelsea haven't even tried to play football. You just knew they'd get a smash and grab. We'll probably lose this 2-0.
If we had everyone fit, I'd fancy our chances here. That said I think we are playing really well.
Given how seldom an outfield player would get that called as a handball....That's not a red card for an outfield player, so why would it be for a keeper? Unless the ref sees that as stopping a goal scoring opportunity.
I'm confused by this, is it ironic, or very poor wuming?De Gea should be sent off. 3 is generous.
Valencia is typical Valencia. 6 is accurate.
Smalling deserves 1, but I always rate him higher than he deserves, because of incomprehensible love he gets here. Only to mention Hazard's goal, that situation when Herrera saved his ass, that situation when Fellaini saved his ass, that situation when Drogba saved his ass... he has no idea about defending. Every single Chelsea goal chance was thanks to him.
McNair vs Ivanovic. Also he's a defender, but he plays more like midfielder. 5 is about fair.
Shaw is maybe a bit to high, but we're attacking left side, and Chelsea does it their left side, so I assume Shaw does something right.
Rooney does nothing. 4 is about fair.
Herrera bar one stupid pass is really good today.
Fellaini does nothing bar crossing to the stands, 5 may be a bit too high.
Mata rarely touches a ball, so he gets default 5.
Young is the only one who is actually dangerous.
Falcao is weak as feck.
Did you have to look at it again? The moment he went for Oscar you could see the gap and the pass to Hazard a mile away.just looked at the goal again. Shocking from Smalling.
All the ratings i strange but what were does Chelsea chances exactly.De Gea should be sent off. 3 is generous.
Valencia is typical Valencia. 6 is accurate.

..the problem is we cannot let Rooney leave the midfield....Herrera and him are doing well there...unless we bring Felanni into midfield....Think we need ADM to come on. Provides assists that no one else on that pitch can, the key to unlocking their defence I think. It's a risk, but this game was always a freebie in my mind, never expected us to win (with the injuries). Happy at how well we've played.
It's Herrera who plays deep and I think he has done really great job there, we don't miss Carrick as much as we miss capable expansive midfielder as no8. Rooney switched to mode where he thinks he must play only tidy balls, that applies to the whole team.He clearly isn't Carrick. We would completely break down without him there, but he is far too advanced. Not controlling the game from deep, not making himself available in space, always looking like he is hoping someone breaks through so he can go run into the box.
Can't blame him though, we all knew he wasn't Carrick.
