Equation group... Stutnex it not like the Americans are not heavily involved in the electronic intelligence age... And of course on the same day Russians get called out for hacking... Let's face it everybody's at it... It's just China has the advantage they make most consumer electronicsThe Chinese are not fecking around.
their neighbours might have a different opinion about that.I think the interesting thing about the Chinese is they’re sophisticated and they’re only interested in money & keeping China together (rather than destabilizing Western democracies).
That is why i never will buy a China phone.Thick as feck Norwegian government are still buying telecommunications infrastructure from Huawei. Probably not compromised at all.
Like Xi Jinping gives a feck about your cock shots. That is why i never will buy a China phone.

Our government takes it one further and makes sure the actual basestations are Huawei. That way the Chinese won't have to bother with individual phones. My company is deploying Lenovo's left right and centre.

I think the Chinese use it as industrial espionage. The Chinese love money, they don’t give a crap about the rest. The amount of technology used around the world, that's been produced in China is staggering. I have no doubt in my mind the Chinese government use this for nefarious causes.
Trump plays Tetris and Chess is from China. But yes, China is well on its way to becoming the dominant super power.New silk road, soft colonization of Africa and expansive politics in the South China sea. One day we'll wake up and find China the dominant superpower. They play Go while we play Chess. Trump on the other hand plays Ludo.
I've got a Legion and they most likely stopped any monitoring out of disgust. My company is deploying Lenovo's left right and centre.
Trump plays pocket tennis and Chess originated in India and then got brought to Persia, Go on the other hand is Chinese. And yes, China will dominate within 10-15 years. Just in my business I've seen them go from nothing players to their damn CNPC and it's subsidiaries popping up everywhere.Trump plays Tetris and Chess is from China. Most historians will tell you that chess originated from Xiangqi and I never said that Go isn’t Chinese.Trump plays pocket tennis and Chess originated in India and then got brought to Persia, Go on the other hand is Chinese. The earliest predecessor of the game probably originated in India, before the 6th century AD; a minority of historians believe the game originated in China. From India, the game spread to Persia. When the Arabs conquered Persia, chess was taken up by the Muslim world and subsequently spread to Southern Europe.
A quick google search will show you plenty of contradicting opinions. But as I don’t have any scientifically substantiated litterateur that I can post on here, lets agree to disagree. One thing for sure is that Xiangqi is at least 800 years older than chess and that strategy games are very much a Chinese invention.
I think it’s less sinister than is often made out (but maybe I’m being naive), but basically they are stealing intellectual property from foreign companies to advance their economy. Lots of companies from the Far East use this strategy. For example, Samsung are well known for purchasing foreign companies, ‘stealing’ the intellectual property and then selling the company off again. The difference is that in China the companies are state owned.I'd love to have been a fly on the wall at these companies while they were finding this stuff out.
What's the main benefit? Are they finding out what moves these companies are making so they can have a headstart on one-upping and grow the Chinese economy? Or am I way off?
Cuz' the internets. Why exactly does it matter who made chess?
Someone might be spying on you through your chess set?Why exactly does it matter who made chess?
Dominant Superpower military & culturally? Very debatable.I remember reading somewhere that about $3.5tn worth of asset already left China in the last decade or so.
Are the Chinese trying to get their fingers on as many pies as possible? Yes. Are they going to be the dominant superpower economically, militarily and culturally? Very debatable, and I’m saying that as a huge admirer of Chinese history and culture.
One child policy -> heavily aging population in the next few decades -> reduced workforce, shit social safety net -> higher mortality rate, failed population distribution (ghost cities) -> waste of money and continual drain to maintain.Dominant Superpower military & culturally? Very debatable.
Dominant Superpower economically? You bet!
