Tbf, second half Arsenal can't control the game at all. Not saying that in defence of Conte but more about the schooling.Roberto De Zerbi is a potential opportunity for Spurs and he has the ability to coach a brand of football that is attractive on the eye in possession and effective off the ball via a high intensity press. I think he's showing the potential to be a world class coach.
Arteta is absolutely schooling Conte here and the reason for that is very simple, and that is because he's a superior coach at implementing a progressive/imposing play style on the ball. Spurs better hope Harry Kane can muster something because I can't see any other way back unless Arsenal gift them a goal.
Conte is a manager with very negative philosophy and for me, Arsenal winning is more about poor Spurs tactics than Arteta genius.
And I like Arteta and think he's good. Just not the greatest example of it in this game.
As for De Zerbi, he is likely going to be very, very expensive and it's questionable if Spurs can offer him serious spending assurances. This squad lacks creative midfielders and I don't see how De Zerbi can replace that. He plays Lallana so much because of it.
