Is this tongue-in-cheek?
no, its what I think.

I dont like how he acts outside of football.
he comes across as petulant, self obsessed, selfish.

but perhaps he comes across differently to you.

to be fair everyone should know by now that Ronaldo is a beautiful footballer but a terrible human being
He's an overall good person I think. Just slightly deluded in believing that the world revolves around him too often.

Annnnd the rhetoric is shifting (as expected) to him changing his mind about leaving. Proud of most United fans for not getting suckered by this one

I doubt that's true. Perez didn't even say that much, surely he was after something more?

The reason will have to be super creative, going to be hard to top this years farce of a reason :lol:
You never know.. Maybe he'll eliminate Spain in the WC and claim no one wants him to come back!! I think football agents must start hiring script writers now to come up with new ones..

"Ronaldo has won everything there is to win at Madrid and he wants a new challenge. He has said Perez he wants to leave definitely."

Real Madrid always cower. No wonder all the top players want to go there. They'll throw money at you if you kick up a fuss and they risk losing you

He's guilty of taking poor advice, many sportspeople are, but all I see is someone who is relentlessly driven to be the best at what he does.

He's also one of the most (if not the most) charitable athletes in the world.

Nonchalantly scoring the winner...
Haha, how predictable, and also how pathetic.

Lets close this and move on to targets that aren't just using the club to improve their situation at their present club - cuz that's a really shit thing to do (I think), especially repeatedly.

Many fans got sucked into the idea that it made a lot of sense for Madrid to sell Ronaldo because he's 32. Madrid may be a circus (whatever that means) but they prefer to win tropheys than to have a lot of money in the bank. And having Ronaldo makes them favourites for the big tropheys, including a 3rd CL title in a row (something unseen for 40 years). Barca will strengthen in the summer, it makes zero sense for Madrid to sell Ronaldo and concede the big tropheys to Barca. Mbappe is nowhere near to Ronaldo's current level yet and probably will never be. He may play with Ronaldo but he ain't an alternative to Ronaldo.

Sorry for the bad words, but it surprises me everytime how a lot of our fans are sucked up to CR7 and are bashing Wazza. You´re saying CR7 is a Utd. legend? He simply isn´t, he went at his peak to this plastic club.

What has he done for us? Our team was fecking excellent in the past, it was not Ronnie alone, who won us the stuff. Wazza had done much more for us in his 12 years here, give him some respect. Don´t be like this white plastic mess, please. I know Wazza is bad now, so he should leave or come from the bench, but do not forget what he has done for this club. Show some respect.

CR7 on the other hand used us many times for better contracts at Real and said he was treated like a slave here. So why are you protecting a Real player so much? Can´t understand this, he has no connection to Utd., he has one to SAF, who is like a dad to him. SAF is no longer the coach, so he won´t come back. Maybe when he is older and wants to get a little bit more money.

Move on guys, Ronnie is past and no longer part of our story. We should support our players not this plastic guy, who is an excellent player though...

A cnut's trick. That's not the first time his people has used Manchester United for their own means. The sooner he retires, the better.

Perez played that one very well. Reminds me of SAF's reaction to Rooney's transfer request.

One minute you've made an irreversible decision the next minute you're changing your mind.
Doesn't reflect well on him. His people can name United all they want, I doubt we really bothered.

Sanctity, like a cat, abhors filth.
Ronaldo is someone who throws his toys out of the pram every time things go a bit against him, it really is quite tiresome. People often point to the two year saga that ultimately culminated in his move to Real, but he was threatening to leave as early as 2006, after Winkgate, because England fans were sore about losing to Portugal. SAF talked him round easily enough that time and Perez will do the same thing this time. Its like when a child kicks off about not being allowed some sweets, you just have to distract them with more positive thoughts and the tantrum will blow over soon enough.

Yeah, does act like a petulant child. There is no way he ever sincerely wanted to leave RM anyway in my opinion. I have a feeling that Mourinho was genuinely not interested in bringing him back anyway, so nothing lost. I do hope this is the last time we get pulled into this circus, but I highly doubt it. I would also understand if he's gone down in many fans estimation, although at the end of the day the one thing Ronaldo doesn't have control over, in terms of speculation, is the media!
