Difficult game this although they have so many injuries.

I can see it being a frustrating night if we concede first as that will get the crowd going.

Can’t see why he won’t trust Shaw. Only conceded in 1/6 matches.

If they sit back they're doomed. Although I don't see them doing much other than going long towards the two big forwards.

Not sure why everyone is nervous, with the amount of injuries Palace have this is the best opportunity we have to beat them. If we can't beat them now it's just embarassing.

I'm not confident. I used to be earlier this season and then we usually played shit

The bus being late just plays to the narrative of the start to a hard day out for us where we drop points. :nervous:

Would have preferred Bailly and Shaw, but fair enough.

I find it a tiny bit depressing that McTominay now has to start every game so that little Pogba can run free and doesn't sulk.

And for those of selective memory, Newcastle was 4-2-3-1 with Lingard as #10, but Burnley was 4-3-3 with Lingard as #8.

Looks like a 442 for Palace. Schlupp and Kelly back.

9/11, I thought Mata would play and figured this would be a Shaw game, glad to see us sticking with the 4-3-3 at least.

If we score early it should be a stroll, but the longer we struggle to open them up the more difficult it will be as it's not our strong suit and the confidence isn't all that high.

Key battle for us is going to be set pieces and high balls with palace targeting Lindelof. Win that battle and we ought to get 3 points.

Probably the easiest lineup prediction this season - especially after the news Martial was injured (had Lingard in starting lineup either way). Subs are fairly straightforward as well.

Young again, then again its no surprise, if Ivanovic was picked week in week out...

That crystal palace team is absolute wank and we should be winning this comfortably.

Smalling & Lindelof partnership is doing well atm tbf.

Just a quick good luck to the mods for the first match thread under the new negativity recommendations.

I have a feeling it's going to be a busy one for you.

10/11 on the lineup though. Happy with that.

Maybe its a kind of diamond with Sanchez closer to Lukaku. They both can work the channels.
