Yeah they plan on him being used in another team.Hope this is in line with what Berrada, Ashworth, Wilcox and hopefully the new manager intend? They must have a plan how to use Rashford. We have been guilty of keeping non performing players way too long.
GeniusHe'll stay.. unless he leaves.
Nah that's just lip service we absolutely want to sell him that seem to be the priority but don't want to do it on cheap .If true, I wonder how we plan to help him back to form. What hasn’t been done this year, that we could do in the future?
Same here. I think there's a great chance he's off.I'm interpreting that completely different than you, but I think you're seeing it how they want it to be seen. Ie he's for sale but we're not letting him go for cheap.
Give Benni McCarthy the raise he asked for circa April 2024 that caused him to go on strike. If true, I wonder how we plan to help him back to form. What hasn’t been done this year, that we could do in the future?
Yup. This seems like basically a way of telling clubs to come make offers, without reducing his price and unsettling him by directly saying we want to sell him. If we actually fully wanted him to stay it wouldn't be leaked to the press that we're open to offers. So basically we will sell him if a good offer comes in.
Yeah, the subtext seems to indicate that they officiously welcome offers. Otherwise why would you even feed the press with this?I'm interpreting that completely different than you, but I think you're seeing it how they want it to be seen. Ie he's for sale but we're not letting him go for cheap.
We have enough holes to patch and wingers to get rid of before we get to Marcus. I agree that nothing short of a mouth watering bid should be entertained.Zero ambition regardless of regime. It's just about marketing.
