I don't know why they even bother with the opening and closing ceremonies for the football tournaments. With the Olympics they're a big deal and an important part of the whole thing, whereas I don't think i've ever seen a football tournament where the ceremonies haven't been an afterthought, I don't think a single one of them has ever been remotely decent.
