The game is over and there’s an important knockout game on Sunday. It’s the right and obvious thing to do.
The man is afraid that if Rashford scores a hat-trick, he will have no excuse for starting Sterling again, let's be honest.

Mount has been shit for years now in an england shirt.

generally a plodder of a player who gets picked for his work rate.

There is a time and a place for those type, but definitely should not be selected ahead of Foden or Rashford.
He hasn't been shit for years. What a statement. It's fine that you want different players ahead of him, but not everyone you don't rate is shit. Such a low IQ claim

Given the two haven’t played in the same position in this tournament, this may be the stupidest conspiracy theory I’ve seen this year. And I saw the one about Musk developing a phone two years ago and he’s going to destroy Apple

Anyone else think Shaw might've pulled something? He is one we (United fans) cannot afford to lose.

Southgate has done exactly the right thing here, taken off the players he relies on the most to rest them, and getting some minutes into other legs.

Running out of steam later in the tournament cost us in the last World Cup and in the Euros, so he's at least partially learned his lesson (even if he's way too late to make changes when we're in a tight game).

He's shit. Might be good enough for the norwegian team but not for england. Leave it at that lad.

He's tactically so far out of his depth it's unbelievable. That Denmark game at the Euros being the most obvious example - Hjulmand was playing chess and Page was playing noughts and crosses. Having a dinosaur of a manager who at least knows how to set up a proper kick and rush counter attack would be a step up.

But yeah, no way he was going given the results.
He'll probably go if they don't make euros which could easily happen.

Nathan Jones would be a decent pick if Southampton dosen't work out.

Or they could just "give it to Giggsy" again if he gets found not guilty of course..... :nervous:

He could always switch back to 4-5-1. You go a long way to excuse him.

Yeah, I'd love Jones or Steve Cooper if either would be available and fancy it. Forest seem quite keen to keep hold of Cooper even if they go back down, though. :(

Iranian players claiming a handball when it actually hit their players hand.

They just need to keep slinging crosses into the box and hope for the best.
