I wonder if Benzema would play if Algeria make it through?

Algeria have had their chance I think, can't see them winning this in extra time because they're exhausted, and we all know Germans don't lose on pens!

The finishing in the game is straight from FM-series

Kroos off, Klose in pls. We don't need 2 holding midfielders now.

I want to watch Germany, Brazil, France, Argentina, Italy or Spain in a final then Costa Rica or another smaller team, like this game the Germans attack and Algeria defends and then counter attacks
So basically, you want to maintain the status quo?

I think extra time will be too much for Algeria unless they can nick a goal from somewhere somehow.

Really chuffed for Algeria, was hanging around with some of them at the Sao Paulo FanFest when they played Belgium and they were really gutted they couldn't hold on (Germany could do with our microphone man in the box).

They must be going mental now :D

Germany slightly better in the 2nd but far from convincing overall. Great game by Algeria, they've been all over Germany in the 1st, a bit worse in the 2nd, but defended brilliantly. Everything is possible now, Germans are favourites of course but its football, I never expected this to go to OT.

I've never seen a better sweeper keeper than Neuer. The Algerians are so quick on the break yet every time they slide one through Neuer manages to get there first, its really interesting/exciting goalkeeping.
Maybe because ball is always coming to Neuer he's always favourite for these balls, he isn't lighting quick.

His timming of these runs is what makes him great at them.

Why isn't Draxler ever considered? Is he injured or something? Thought he'd be perfect when Reus was declared injured.
