Are you medically trained out of interest?
Yeah although not to a very high level. Enough for my job.

They played a European Cup final after Juventus fans died at the stadium.Disgraceful if this match continues. Players will be out of their minds right now, and nobody on the stands will be able to enjoy it properly either, after all they witnessed.
Sounds like quite a few broadcasters fecked up, seems like a chain of cock ups starting with UEFA.
Whoops I didn’t even notice hah sorry.
That was his own teams 2 medics. The stadium docs and equipment didn't get there for what felt like ages
I guess they didn't know they were needed until the team doctors called them over. I still don't think their response was bad though. They put him in the recovery position when his heart wasn't beating then waited for the medics! Should have started CPR sooner.
Only that long? Felt like a lifetime watching it. He seemed to be in that recovery position for an ageit took 1 minute and 49 seconds for the actual medics to get to him which is pretty damn quick considering he was on the opposite side of the pitch and they didn't know to come straight away
We're supposed to be less barbaric now. They played a European Cup final after Juventus fans died at the stadium.
Goes along with that picture:
Why?If the players are told to restart the game I hope they kick off and then sit down until the referee blows the full time whistle.
Thank God! Come on Christian! You can win this!Danish football federation says he’s awake at the hospital. Thank god!
If he's in stable condition, don't see why not?
It's not easy to move matches around in a tournament like this.
Moving fixtures by a day or two will cause chaos for fans who may have travelled to these games.
Players are human, they aren’t robots. They’re all going to be shaken from what happened. If he's in stable condition, don't see why not?

They do the tests at the preseason or after a move to another club as a routine medical. I was involved in a case where player in big Club had to end his career because of a congenital heart condition and he just did not accept it, I felt sorry for him. It was discovered in a preseason routine test. But he should have went through these tests several times in his career not just once or twice. It's a possibility, but I think it's highly unlikely, or that's what I'm hoping.
Phew, positives signs at least. Still furious about the coverage. This is not only disrespectful to Eriksen himself, his family and his team but also to the first responders who were fighting for his life.
Nobody wants to be in their shoes, believe me. Had to perform PCR myself (thankfully the person regained his breathing even before the ambulance arrived) a couple of years back and some teenage punk tried to film the scene on his phone. Thankfully after I screamed at him to get the phone away another bystander ripped it out his hands and smashed it on the ground. Some people just have no shame.
I agree, but the news seem encouraging and I think that the players should decide if they want to continue. I can't tell you what they're going through and they may want to continue this or they may not. We're supposed to be less barbaric now.
Brilliant news!Danish football federation says he’s awake at the hospital. Thank god!
I think the Danish team might just withdraw from.the tournament. Ask the players what they want but might just be a good idea for everyone to be with their loved ones and away from football for a bit.
If UEFA are desperate to get something to broadcast after all that, give them the most memorably boring spectacle the Euros will have ever seen. Why?

They weren't slow at all. It took them like 10 seconds to sprint over to him just because he was probably at the furthest point away from the benches.
Yes, he's not dead so why not continue?England cancel media presentation, will the Belgium game go ahead?
They successfully revived him whats the problem? The medics involved did a good job. I'm not going to sit here and slate them they literally saved his life today. This is my point. People need to get out of the mindset a medic needs to do CPR. Anyone can! Basic life skills that could help you save someone in the street or a loved one.
They shouldn't have been waiting for the medics to come over. The team staff should have been able to identify the issue and start on the CPR. If they aren't trained for that then questions need to be asked.
I heard on here that the Dutch did the same. I've heard reports from other countries where they saw everything. One person on here in Portugal said they showed replays of it.Danish broadcasters were showing a hawkeye shot of the outside of the stadium throughout the entire thing. They cut away the second they realised it was so serious.
