what a player enzo is fffs
I think Scaloni may have accidentally found a better lineup. How Enzo Fernandez wasn't starting is beyond me.Unless they seriously up their performance level Argentina will get brushed aside by a decent team.
The usual ones : France, Brazil, Spain, England (I am not so sure about that). Not many decent teams in this tournament.
Should take Latauro's spot.Alvarez has made a big difference up front
Argentina have been better than Brazil fairly consistently over the last couple of years so we’ll see about that. The usual ones : France, Brazil, Spain, England (I am not so sure about that).
I wonder this quite often. Their league is better than the MLS but doesn't attract the bigger namesHow are Mexico not a bigger footballing nation?
More than twice as many inhabitants as Argentina. Is football not their biggest sport? How do they not produce a world class player every now and then?
They produce good boxers, but as for team sports I can't think of anything outside of football that they are half decent at.How are Mexico not a bigger footballing nation?

Enzo makes a big difference. His presence lifts that team up. Messi doesn't need to play as deeperTheir midfield is so trash.
https://www.redcafe.net/threads/why-does-mexico-not-have-a-stronger-nt.454227/page-3#post-29776725I was wondering this. My guess is lack of investment.
Hugo Sanchez, Rafael Marquez and Luis Hernandez were all world class tbf. Been ages since them though. How are Mexico not a bigger footballing nation?

Surely has to start the next game.what a player enzo is fffs
di Maria needs to start though. without him it's purely one person creating.I think Scaloni may have accidentally found a better lineup. How Enzo Fernandez wasn't starting is beyond me.
Because he was crap? Why take off Lozano, the one Mexican that can produce something from nothing?
Not quite sure foreign players want to play and reside in places like Juarez, Monterrey, and Tijuana.I wonder this quite often. Their league is better than the MLS but doesn't attract the bigger names
They’re even bigger underachievers than Nigeria who to their credit still manage to produce the odd top class player. How are Mexico not a bigger footballing nation?

Still the most likely attacking player to make something happen.Because he was crap?
Mexicans are more than pretty decent at baseball. They produce good boxers, but as for team sports I can't think of anything outside of football that they are half decent at.
What help did he have? Or looks like aimless running when the rest of the team is fine settling behind the ballBecause he was crap?
More like puppiesMexico are the international Wolves.
Beating Portugal to that title takes a lot of doing, but I can't disagree.Mexico are the international Wolves.
I think they have just one mode of play - solid defence but zero offenc. Can only take you so farWhat is the point of Mexico? They literally create nothing
I guess they need to have certain quotas on foreign imports. And besides, giving homegrown talent a chance should be cost-saving by quite a stretch.
And tactics to further the defensive nature, very much the 90s USA under Bora.I think they have just one mode of play - solid defence but zero offenc. Can only take you so far
Brazil team is much more impressive and to play friendlies and so on is not the same as the World Cup.Argentina have been better than Brazil fairly consistently over the last couple of years so we’ll see about that.
Mason Mount wants to have a word with youHas De Paul produced the worth performance of the World Cup so far?
