And there you go. Looks like this is Croatia's game to lose now.
No,we don'tWe sorely miss proper striker.
TotallyBeen a good first half for once!
You cheered up now?feck this shit
Unlucky. This is the first day I haven’t watched any games so far (might try to catch 2nd half of Spain)
How’s the football been today? Missed much?
We do. Livaja is great player but not classic number 9. Same goes for Petković. We do have Budimir but he's class below Livaja and Petković.No,we don't
Never heard it but it might be a thing in the Balkans or even in Germany. Denmark are called the Brazilians of the Nordics. Probably only in Scandinavia though and it dates back to them having Laudrup and other superbly talented players even more technical than Brazilians.Croatian-German co-commentator Ivan Klasnic just said on German tv: "like they always say, Croatian players are the Brazilians of Europe, ..."
Is this really something that people say about Croatian footballers? Obviously a lot of them have great technical skill, but is this really a nickname for them?
You cheered up now?
This game has been good so far. So was the Belgium v Morocco game. This is the first day I haven’t watched any games so far (might try to catch 2nd half of Spain)

Yep, Canada can't deal with them when they have the ball.Modric Brozovic Kovacic are all just wonderful footballers. Feels like the 2018 semi final all over again but squeezed into one half. They kill the game with ball retention and efficiency.
Actually the Brazilians of the Balkans were called the players from Romania in the 90's because they were very technical.. Gheorghe Hagi as a prime example.. never heard of the Croats as Brazilians but hey maybe this is an inside call..Never heard it but it might be a thing in the Balkans or even in Germany.
