Rom had a bad game today but doesn't change the fact he's had a very good tournament. Well done lad!

Kane and Lukaku both tired out the longer the tournament went on.

Shit game from Rom. Both him and Kane started the tournament off so well in the first 2 games but then pretty wank in the knockout stage bar 1 good game each.

Stones is bullying Lukaku. This must be the greatest humiliation ever. You will never recover from that.

Someone here said that Lukaku is too strong to have a good touch

His first touch is terrible. His pace and power is great and he's learning to make better use of his abilities. I do worry that he'll always have a bad first touch and lack of composure.
Disagree. His touch can be dodgy at times but it's definitely improved. He'll bag 20+ for us next season.

For United it may make sense but for Belgium, no way. Only 4 goals against those poor teams is a terrible return as a CF
4 goals itself isnt bad but its that he only scored against the 2 worst teams in the competition and then did basically nothing the rest of the time (had a good half against Brazil though). So many times he just doesnt get involved as much as he should, or his touch lets him down to ruin chances or ruin situations that could lead to chances. Just all very meh with him.

And now everyone is back to bashing to Lukaku. :boring:
No one is bashing him. Why is any criticism of Lukaku always taken as attacking him? His first touch is poor more often than not, it’s a simple statement of fact that you see in front your eyes. He has his redeeming traits, as does his negative ones.

Lukaku was phenomenal against Brazil. Kane has never had a game even close to that in this tournament.

Yeh, if Lukaku sorted out his touch we'd have a top 5 player in the world. A genuine successor to Ronaldo. But you have to take these things with a player of his profile, he'd probably have to get considerably smaller to improve his touch and then he wouldn't be a freight train and shrug players off like they are children.
What?

I dont understand why some find it cool to bash lukaku, sterling, rashford and pogba. Dont see them doing the same for kane or griezmann or kdb who all have been pretty crap on occasions.

The most frustrating thing about today is that Lukaku had 2 good chances which he should have done better with, and he had every chance to join Kane on 6 goals.

He looks knackered though so needs a well earned 2/3 weeks off.

Kanes golden boot basically coming from penalties as well.
2 tap ins, 3 penalties and a deflection he knew nothing about
They should change it to make knockout stage goals mean more. Like weighted goals. Scoring 5 against 2 wank teams and then doing nothing in the knockout rounds doesnt deserve shit
