You’re not bringing anything constructive here. You critiqued my post with a narrative that i had already written about. I don’t get what this one means, however both midfielders showed absolutely no lack of either attribute against the 3 English clubs they knocked out this CL campaign. So do most. But Vitinha would be a poor signing for us for obvious reasons. If we had more pace and power in the side then sure he would be great. Neves has issues due to his hieght. Again if we already had more height then he would be great.
We need players who can actually pass and control the ball. Not lumberjacks.

he’s mentioned several times about the need for more physicality.Took him 8 months for a no shite sherlock revelation
What’s the point in responding with that? What does it bring to the forum?Sure they didnt

Not great if it's at expense of techniqueTook him 8 months for a no shite sherlock revelation

Want to expand on why you think they were shite? What are the obvious reasons that Vitinha would be a bad signing? Or are you in the line of not reading posts properly and then being immature when someone asks what you mean?My opinion.

Amazed to see someone like you write something like that. You appreciate the nuance and intricacies of technical refinery yet seem to be welcoming the ushering in of us actively seeking donkeys.Only good thing I’ve heard from the news post final loss.
I hope we also prioritise technical ability because it's kinda useless to have fast strong players who can't keep or pass a ball
Preparation for when Southgate takes over in December to save us from relegationWatch us sign physical cloggers who aren't very talented.
Theres people in his thread that still maintain he's a physical specimenDorgu did he fit this profile?
Gotta hope that we sign players that are technically sound too. It’s not an impossibility to get all of the above plus that too.So we're going for all the qualities we had as a counter attacking team before we went to 4-2-3-1 and tried to have more of the ball and play out of the back. Glad the last 6 years werent for noth... oh

With Onana as our keeper, I'd give up on this idea for now.Bloody hell we’re never going to be able to play out of the press at the back.
First you may want to highlight where I said they were shite before I can answer at that particular question.Want to expand on why you think they were shite? He looks no more physical than most mid table PL full backs. If he’s not, what is he? He’s not technically that great but seems pretty strong, relatively fast, and has good stamina.
Pretty sure he mentioned it in his first presser or one of the first ones.Took him 8 months for a no shite sherlock revelation

Or we could play something akin to Klopp's Liverpool, who had few problems working it out from the back and playing on the front foot.So we're going for all the qualities we had as a counter attacking team before we went to 4-2-3-1 and tried to have more of the ball and play out of the back. Glad the last 6 years werent for noth... oh
We have a squad littered of players who are slow and weak, who can't keep or pass a ball either.I hope we also prioritise technical ability because it's kinda useless to have fast strong players who can't keep or pass a ball

The approach isn't "let's get anyone who is better than what we have". It's "let's recruit cleverly with astute signings who can bridge the gap".Yet he's physically miles ahead of anyone else we have to play at wing back, so it demonstrates how far we've fallen physically and why this approach is necessary.
