A lot of European cities stand to gain from a UK exit through a relocation of a lot high paying jobs, services and taxes. Not saying they actively want us out, but Europeans wouldn't be losing sleep over it.
May have already been mentioned, but the bookies are making it seem like it's in the bag for remain. 1.17 for remain, 8 for leave.

You're confusing 'concessions' which would apply to UK only, and 'reforms' which apply to all, and are part of the continuing form of any government as it creates and passes it's laws. Reform one way or another won't stop.
That's true, we could benefit from it but I think that most people prefer to see the EU with the UK. At the end of the day, we prefer to share our wealth with the UK in a peaceful Europe than without them.
To put it another way - you bet £1 for leave to win - if they do you get £6.40 back - only problem is that if Leave does win the £6.40 you now have will be worth less than the £1 you had originally

Thats exactly what are my feelings. I see myself as an european, its the best our continent have done after the castrophes and disasters in the past. Ok, we need to reform the whole thing and do it more democratic and regions and citizen based. But since the witch Thatcher Britain always complains,wanting and getting extras from the EU, and never get the idea truly and put some energy in it like France or Germany. So i will be a little bit sad if Britain leaves, having so much friends in Britain from Erasmus and stuff, and i would be glad if Britain would be another stronghold of the ideas which comes with an European Union. But i also see the Brexit as a possibilty to go on with the whole project with more force without a neoliberal Britain which is always ranting about every stupid stuff..
Iam just surprised how stupid people can be, i was reading articles about regions in Britain which got tons of money from the EU for structural things and got a lot of effort from it, but the people dont see it and run after the idea that Britain has to be an Empire for itself like in the past.

I haven't voted in previous elections partly due to a complete lack of interest in politics, general apathy through everything thanks to depression and the fact that St. Helens is solidly Labour (and of course there are solidly Tory/Lib Dem/SNP/whatever places in the country) so even if I voted something else it never would've seemed to make a difference. The voting system for general elections is flawed but I'll vote in the next one.
I knew this made a difference though so I read up on it and the potential pitfalls of both. Was extremely hard trying to sift through all the bullshit though.
Where did that money come from in the first place? British taxpayers. Only we lose some of it along the way, on nnecessary or objectionable EU initiatives.

The pound started moving quite early too,m before the majority of voters would even have gone to a polling station. There's going to be disaffection either way, just hope i'm not the one feeling it on this occasion.
