Wow.
Probably not the best image to parody. The IPL is arguably the most entertaining tournament in sports right now, and it wasn't formed on the back of destroying any existing structure.
Whats evolutionary about ruining the game? I'm baffled by anyone on board with such a sad sad thing for the sport. This is the next evolution of the game.
Embrace it, people.
Tottenham will get relegated...Dock 40 points off each club and fine them a shit ton of cash.
How's it ruining the game?Whats evolutionary about ruining the game? I'm baffled by anyone on board with such a sad sad thing for the sport.
And ArsenalTottenham will get relegated...
So this might be the *real* topic. Those clubs want PSG and City to be held accountable to their numbers and their accounting to be much more closely watched. If they get it that way, I am all in. Chelsea is in, which suggest that Chelsea is already able to cope with such stringent financial requirements.Based that on this line from the Guardian: PSG’s reluctance to turn their back on Ligue 1 despite major issues with its new TV rights deal could be down to proposed stringent financial regulations in the new competition that would be similar to Uefa’s Financial Fair Play regulations.
Which sounds a lot like parity mechanisms to me. But who knows. Some more:
Bayern and Dortmund rule out Super League, PSG not committing to it (besoccer.com)
Establishment were against it weren’t they?Probably not the best image to parody. The IPL is arguably the most entertaining tournament in sports right now, and it wasn't formed on the back of destroying any existing structure.
Not sure point deduction would be such a great idea though, gratifying though the thought is (even for United). Because it wouldn't exactly be a great argument for these clubs to shelve this and stick with the current leagues, or the CL they would not then qualify for. In fact, few things could be more certain to cause them to push ahead with this.30’points deduction for everyone but City. 80 points deduction for city for being oiled shitty
I don't think this is happening. They need to breakaway if they want to do it. Their suggestion there is silly.Tweet

Never knew we have the equivalent of Russian bots on this forum. How's it ruining the game?
That's Liverpool, Arsenal, and you lot relegated. Sounds fair to me.Dock 40 points off each club and fine them a shit ton of cash.
That's fine by me right now. I'm fecking disgusted by the club doing this.Tottenham will get relegated...
Yes, that is what it has always been. It's the FA that's said they're going to kick teams out of all domestic competitions for playing in itSo is this an alternative European competition without looking to come away from the domestic league?
No more CL themeHow's it ruining the game?
Devolution. Get it right. This is the next evolution of the game.
Embrace it, people.
behave, you don't want to watch your team compete against Europe's elite, and Arsenal? That's fine by me right now. I'm fecking disgusted by the club doing this.
I now understand the delay was the Glaziers were busy designing the new Super League logo in Photoshop.Tweet
