The template exists for a reason and most teams will have a mixture of the same players. I did change Reguilon to Coufal though. Looking at my team, Coufal rotates better with my other defenders plus I'm not sure how Nuno will set up this Spurs team. On top of that, if Son is playing as their striker, Reguilon's assist potential will take a hit. The way West Ham play, Coufal should be creating chances a lot.It is funny cause me and Dirty got exactly the same team apart from me having Bachmann who I am not starting.
Thus we are going to have exactly the same points unless we change something.
It is a pretty template team. The only risk is Barnes really who I might change, but noone gives me joy.
Barnes is the only punt in my team and I looked around but he's the best option. I already have Raphinha. Benrahma looks excellent but there's no guarantee he will start, especially if they go 3 at the back. Also, I have Antonio so West Ham attack is covered. Buendia is good but I have Ings and their fixtures turn soon... plus feck Dean Smith! That leaves Barnes the only real option but he's dynamite and can bang in some goals if he at least gets 70 minutes per game. It's a risk that I am willing to take.
I think Sanchez is fine. Martinez might start off well but their fixtures fall off a cliff after GW3 and you already have Ings to swap out at that time. You don't want to be doing a GK transfer too. Not worth it. Plus, Villa were conceding a fair bit towards the end of the last season. I think at 5.5, he's going to be a trap long term. Villa are also looking to play a new formation, look what happened to Wolves when they did that. I would just stay away and keep the extra 1 million to spread into your team.Ok lad, definites in bold, rest i'm debating still
Sanchez Foster
TAA Shaw Coufal Tsim White
Salah Bruno Greenwood Raphinha Gilmour
Ings Antonio Toney
- Martinez in there instead of Sanchez
- Gray Willock, Grealish, Barnes as other options instead of my lads
Pros and cons of leaving, versus changing?
Gray is not someone I've even though about so can't say much about him. Willock and Grealish are risks. The former hasn't even trained with Newcastle and the latter will be massive rotation risk, especially at the start.
Barnes is someone I have so naturally, I'm hot on him. The risk is his minutes. He came off a long injury, Brenton said he isn't ready to go the full 90 and Leicester have so many attackers, he isn't guaranteed a start. I will monitor him and will sub him out if it looks like he's not viable.
Coufal is a solid pick mate, keep him.
Gilmour is fodder. But he does take free kicks so could be the best 4.5 fodder (unless Dewsbury-Hall gets into that Leicester starting 11).
Raphinha is my boy, the most undervalued player in the game. I don't care about fixtures, Leeds can score against anyone and he is electric. He's a keeper.
Not sure about Greenwood. I think he will be ok for the first few weeks. I just hope United can get in behind, which is a worry with Cavani not playing and Sancho not ready.
Your team is fine, don't do too many crazy changes bud.
Edit: Just realized your team is identical to mine except I dont have Greenwood but have Barnes and 0.5 to spare
