Raphinha, T Silva, Fabinho, G Jesus, and Fred all are playing Brazil vs Uruguay, match just started, so they likely won't have enough rest before their Saturday fixtures.Rudiger I’m confident will play, Raphinha is 50/50 at best
During today's Leeds presser, Bielsa suggested it wouldn't be possible for Raphinha to start if he plays in the Brazil match tonight.
Just In
The Brazilian side vs Uruguay starting line-up includes Raphinha
Didn’t quite say that:Raphinha, T Silva, Fabinho, G Jesus, and Fred all are playing Brazil vs Uruguay, match just started, so they likely won't have enough rest before their Saturday fixtures.
I think Bielsa will play him. Leeds need some wins, Soton is beatable and Bamford confirmed to still be out...Didn’t quite say that:
"There's no doubt it's a short turnaround. The options he has to participate on Saturday depend on whether he plays this final game [for Brazil] tonight, how many minutes he plays, how he finishes the game after participating [and] how efficient the rest he can have in the next 36 hours is, considering a third of those hours will be spent flying.
"If there is any risk that fatigue can cause injuries, we won't risk it. [There are] so many aspects to consider, I can't offer certainties either way."
He played 71 mins and scored twice. I’ve got a sneaking feeling Bielsa will still play him if Rapha says he feels OK
Meet in the middle.Bamford still out... between him, Rudiger (most likely) and Ayling out for the weekend, Lukaku, Raphinha and TAA doubtful I'm in deep shit.
Is it ridiculously dumb to take -12 to swap Ayling, Bamford and Sarr to Dias, Toney and Gallagher? It's a lot of hits but having potentially 7 players this weekend is even worse. This way at least I will have a mostly full team. Sarr is technically healthy but not expecting much of him against Liverpool + their fixtures are awful.
I think Lukaku and TAA will both play. Bamford I would def transfer out at this point.Bamford still out... between him, Rudiger (most likely) and Ayling out for the weekend, Lukaku, Raphinha and TAA doubtful I'm in deep shit.

I already did the transfer for the week bringing in Foden. The issue with just removing Bamford and Ayling is that I am insistent on taking Toney for Bamford, and I would rather have a City defender in for Ayling than anyone else but I can’t afford it without downgrading Sarr…Meet in the middle.
Bamford definitely out
Ayling definitely out
Get rid of these for -4
Keep Rudiger, Lukaku, TAA and Sarr.
The first 3 of those could and might still play. They're also long term holds anyway.
Sarr needs to go soon but he's good enough for a week where you are struggling to line up with 11 players.
Also, he's as likely to get you the same points as Toney this week.
Will Werner start though?Id go Werner as a punt (3 delicious games and he's best against the worst) and then downgrade him / use him as a placeholder for Bamford in a couple of week's time. I guess downgrade someone to get in Werner. You max need 2 decent bench options imo
Some of them will play. I’d only take the minuses if you prefer the changes anyway (I.e. long term gains)Bamford still out... between him, Rudiger (most likely) and Ayling out for the weekend, Lukaku, Raphinha and TAA doubtful I'm in deep shit.

Are they buying dinner or am I expected to pay half?If you had to pick between Armstrong and Hwang who would it be?
Hwang I reckon. I'd keep the money in the bank to move to Toney either way.If you had to pick between Armstrong and Hwang who would it be?
For me option 1 gives you more flexibility. I tried to plan like that but then my team became a sea of yellow flags and now I just seem to be putting out fires everywhere instead. This is the point where I have doubts with my WC...
Can someone help me with the two scenarios (the teams at the end of each scenario finishes very similar).
Option 1:
Ramsdale
Rudiger, TAA, Cancelo
Salah, Raphinha, Mbuemo, Son
Lukaku, Antonio, Hwang
Subs: Foster, Duffy, Livramento, Brownhill
Plan is to do this:
GW9: Nothing
GW10: Antonio out, Toney in
GW11: Nothing
GW12: Lukaku out, Ronaldo in
Option 2:
Ramsdale
Rudiger, TAA, Cancelo
Salah, Raphinha, Mbuemo, Foden
Lukaku, Antonio, Jimenez
Subs: Foster, Duffy, Livramento, Brownhill
Plan is to do this:
GW9: Nothing
GW10: Antonio out, Toney in
GW11: Jimenez out, Hwang in
GW12: Foden and Lukaku out, Son and Ronaldo in
It essentially comes down to whether it's better to have a short term punt on Foden's easy run (option 2) before switching to Sons easy run. It allows me to optimize fixtures but at the same time... Pep roulette.
Or is it better to get Son in now and hold him through his 3 tougher fixtures after Newcastle. This way, I am not optimizing fixtures but Son is guaranteed to play each game, unlike Foden.
A bit of a Foden like situation imo. But let's see how fit Lukaku is according Tu chelWill Werner start though?
Armstrong. Guaranteed to start and play 90 minutes. And might be on pens since Prowse is out and has easier fixtures. If you had to pick between Armstrong and Hwang who would it be?
RapRaphinha or Foden who is getting benched?
Obviously Raphinha.Raphinha or Foden who is getting benched?
Really tough one to be honest. For me it would be Son. Foden is almost certainly going to start, but imo it's still a slight risk. Whereas Son will only miss out if he gets an injury.I’m on a wildcard and I want to take a one week punt on either Son or Foden to replace Raphinha and want to bring Raphinha straight back in next week. Who is the better option between Son and Foden?
I think Lukaku did train so he got higher chance to play. Rudiger is bigger doubt. I am not on a wildcard and consider selling Rudiger if we get no more news.Im on wild card and have Rudiger, Raphinha and Lukaku on yellow flag and I want all 3 in my team long term. I can sacrifice Raphinha who seems to have the least chance of playing at the moment, by bringing Livra off the bench. Not sure if the Chelsea boys will feature though. Strange situation to be in on a wild card
He is flying back though very early.Obviously Raphinha.
A little tip, you should view transfers as 4 points. This is the point where I have doubts with my WC...

Yeah and no Jesus adds to his chances as well.He is flying back though very early.
Foden and Pep is a tricky situation to predict. Torres gone should increase the chances.
They got 4 players for 3 attacking spots pretty much. So 75% chance if all are equal.
Foden can also play in central midfield over Bernardo.
Yeah, I can't see how I take both Rudiger and Raphinha. Need to have a good think. Rudiger especially makes no sense. I want a Chelsea defender to play now and there's no point buying a defender who could miss a few games.Im on wild card and have Rudiger, Raphinha and Lukaku on yellow flag and I want all 3 in my team long term. Thanks for the response and I understand your point but there is a reason for why my team ends up similar at the end of both options.A little tip, you should view transfers as 4 points.
The fact that in option 2 you talk about having Jiminez & Foden, moving to Hwang & Son (who are already in your option 1 team) makes me think that deep down you want option 1, you just need someone to give you that little nudge. Going back to the tip I said earlier, you should take into account the transfers of Jiminez->Hwang (a terrible sideways transfer anyway I must add) & Foden->Son is effectively 8 points. Therefore, you must take foden's & jiminez's points over the next 3 weeks and subtract 8. Does that beat Son & Hwang over 3 weeks? I'd say not.
However, sometimes these high risk plays can work out, but personally I'm a bit of a stats man and would go with option 1 .
