AGREED. And to think I was in here two days ago going on about how he was definitely a better choice than Pickford...
I needed a cheap Kelleher replacement. Only silver lining is rival has him as well but my other goalie is Leno and Henderson is only there for the City game.

Thinking about it... If I stuck with my original FH, Pickford, Olise and Odegaard would have got me close to my rival again.

Instead, he's out-pointing me on a week where I'm playing a chip and he's not

Wanted Jota but the last few weeks of Liverpool failing dissuaded me. Still, Eze also scored so net-net no change.

The defensive transfers done me again with that idiot Hendo conceding a 2nd for Palace.

I wanted to distribute the risk of a CS but should have gone for the attacking punts.

I've learnt my lesson. Next time, don't try differentiate just to catch a rival. Now my OR has dipped and he's still ahead of me.

Big pill to swallow and I'm probably out of the season now.

Good luck all on your leagues!

See you next year :keano:

Behind the right goal post as "Whiteside shoots!"

And the madness starts all over again.

Can’t be worse than this season!

Can it…?

Pfff! That Cunha news just changes the whole setup for my freehit this week:

Original plan:

Henderson (Pickford)
Gabriel, White, TAA (Mykolenko, Tarko/Ait Nouri)
Salah (C), Saka, Eze, Olise (Sarabia)
Darwin, Solanke, Cunha.

I could just bring in Neto or Grbic for Hendo and go Cunha to Mateta, but tripple CP attack seems overkill.

So new draft now:

Grbic/Pickford/Neto
Gabriel, TAA, Munoz (Tarko, Ait Nouri)
Salah(C), Saka, Havertz, Eze, Brereton Diaz
Darwin, Solanke (Mateta)

Thoughts?
Ended up with:

Pickford (Neto)
Gabriel, TAA, Munoz (Tarko, Mykolenko)
Salah (C), Saka, Eze, Havertz (Brereton Diaz)
Solanke, Darwin, Mateta

66 points and a big green so far.
Changed from Olise to Havertz and White to Munoz 30 minutes before the deadline, so could have been even better. Still a long way to go, so anything can happen.

For 35 the team looks like this:

Petrovic (Onana)
Burn, Gabriel, Van Hecke (Udogie, Bradley)
Salah, Palmer (C), Son, Foden (Garnacho)
Haaland, Isak, Jackson.

1,5 M ITB and 1 free transfer.

With Udogie most likely out for the season I'm going to take a hit before GW 37, and will most likely let Udogie or Bradley go this week.
I don't trust Spurs enough to tripple up there, so I will be looking at Dalot, a City defender or Tripps (if reports says he's back) most likely.

Any toughts on this?

Don't give up. Still another round of games to go in midweek and you can hit up some captain differentials from now until the end. There will be opportunities with Haaland and Salah not looking great.

GW35 - I reckon Palmer will be most captained. Could go Son.
Get in KDB and cap him from 36-38?

Doesn't sound good for Palmer and Gusto tonight. Both better be ok for the double. If this jammy bastard gets Gordon points off his bench 2 weeks in a row

I need Havertz to bang tonight and a Gabriel bullet header.

I'm seeing a lot of wildcard drafts going all in for 37. What could possibly go wrong....

Gusto not playing might turn out to be a bonus...

And I have two Arse defenders, so no spawny goal for Palmer helps

Will barely get to 11 fit players and my only differential of two Arse defenders versus my rival is out of the window with that Ben white goal

Nah, feck this. Rival has Odegaard and White. I'm about to bottle a 80-point lead.

Happy with White and Havertz. If I left my team exactly as is and got in those two... I would have caught up with my rival. Oh well, at least it's good for the old OR.

I was about to kick myself for having Rice instead of Havertz and then I remembered I couldn't afford Havertz
