When you say £100, do you really mean £10, then just multiply any winnings by ten?

Or are you just a) seriously minted, b) in serious debt?

Anyone with Paddy, they're offering money back as a bet for next weekend if your 5-fold or higher accy doesn't come in on the opening weekend.

No I mean £100. I'm up over a grand in two weeks. I've posted details of the bets before the matches, the last two Sundays and both have won. I'm a student, I'm not in debt, nor minted.

The original £100 bet was from money left over before I got paid and it wasn't needed. If this one loses it'll be my last big one for a while, until another big win.

Truth time lads. Who's bet on a Swansea win tomorrow? I've seen 3/1 for a Swansea win. I've not yet but I'll not lie I'm tempted. Swansea are hard to beat at home, have been flying all pre-season and have been playing competetive football for about 2 weeks now.

I think Swansea may well win but 3/1 is not value. Value bet is 5/2 draw.

I think the uncertainty around United's performances are what's driving these odds. When have we seen above evens for an away trip outside the top 6? I think Moyes is desperate for a win to start things off and he and the team will do everything in their capacity to ensure it. I've got a bit on United to win, even though I normally don't bet on United games.

I know accumulators are for idiots but I've bet £75 for £100 profit on:

That's not true. With 4 or 5 folds you can really do quite well (especially in the tennis).

You got 2.2 on Man Utd to win outright? Sure you haven't bet on the draw -_-

Well done he’s 13
I'm gonna try play my betting smart this season. No bets till 5 weeks in.

But here's what I would have put a few quid on, which'll undoubtedly win now that I haven't:

Liverpool
Southampton
Norwich v Everton BTTS
Arsenal
Derby
Wigan

I'm a big fan of the long-shot accumulator and I think today has as good a chance as any of throwing one up for us. I've gone for four aways in the Premier League; Aston Villa, Everton, Southampton and Manchester United. The four-timer pays 107/1. Villa, I think, are a cracking bet at 7/1 as I see Benteke, Agbonlahor and Wiemann creating all sorts of trouble for that Arsenal back four on the counter-attack. Everton are also a side with great pace on the counter-attack with Mirallas, Kone and co., and I am impressed with the signings Southampton have made this summer. United, a team whom I rarely include in accumulators, appeal on the basis of Moyes' excellent record at the Liberty Stadium with Everton (two wins from two games, with five goals scored and none conceded. The best record versus Swansea of any club since their promotion) and the good form of van Persie and Welbeck especially.

To keep things a little more sane, I've also gone for a treble of home wins with Liverpool, Sunderland and West Ham, which pays a shade under 11/2. Liverpool do well against bottom-half teams at Anfield and I fail to see where Stoke's goals will come from this season, Sunderland ended last season on a high and have some good signings this summer, most notably Giaccherini (and not to mention Fulham's abysmal away record), and West Ham are a formidable side at Upton Park and I think they'll have too much nous for newly-promoted Cardiff.

Good luck to everyone today! :D

Had a last minute fiver on Sturridge first goal scorer in the Liverpool game, he was favourite at 7/2 but happy days :)

Will wait for the Arse lineups before picking a first GS in that too. Nice to have a little on the game while waiting for United.

Rickie van fecking Wolfswinkel. I'd be on some sweat now for the United game if that fecking gobshite hadn't scored.

Happy with the Villa and Southampton shouts, though. 23/1 double... :(
Id the red card at 6's. Barkley to score anytime was the same price.

draw half time United full time is tempting me @ 5/1. Welbeck anytime 4/1 also...

Did you back Villa? Had a feeling they would be strong this season, but that was some result!!!

I took this tip and went for West Ham, Everton, Villa, United myself. Got odds of about 85.00 on it. It was close. Good tip.

Randomly decided to go for a scorecast today due to Money-Back-Special on Paddy. Went RvP to score first and a United win 0-2. Was obviously looking good for a while until van Persie decided to smash one in from 20 yards... Bastard. Ah well, happy we got a big win when my bet was off and I can still make another bet with the funds. Would have been nice to be over £200 up mind.
