Guess Roman had a good talk with Lampard and saw that he had no clue how to turn it around.
With Roman, there is no feckin around.

Ermmm don’t get me wrong if they didn’t sack Frank he probably still could have achieved top 4. They are only 5 points off. The season wasn’t over, but it was time for him to go anyway.I guess you no longer think both teams have the same distinct managerial flaws that will keep the teams on par
Guess, he is home again.Tweet

Brilliant team goal in fairness. Kind of ironic when the leaks say squad harmony was in the toilet.Tweet

I just don't buy that really. Everyone on the bench and pitch was shouting for Werner to take the pen yesterday, that does not happen if the squad is split.Brilliant team goal in fairness. Kind of ironic when the leaks say squad harmony was in the toilet.
They also had 2 teams above them with 2 games less. Not to mention they have yet to beat a team in the top 10 - WHU the only teamErmmm don’t get me wrong if they didn’t sack Frank he probably still could have achieved top 4. To be fair, 80% of that goal was made in Cobham and they all love each other.Brilliant team goal in fairness. Kind of ironic when the leaks say squad harmony was in the toilet.
We've beaten a couple of sides who were in the top ten (at the time we beat them). Not to mention they have yet to beat a team in the top 10 - WHU the only team
Beating Brighton in your first game of the season when they were in the top ten by alphabetical default doesn’t count. We've beaten a couple of sides who were in the top ten (at the time we beat them).
I've seen it mentioned a few times, that we haven't, it's wrong.
I don´t think I´d advice anyone to take over Celtic, tbh. Anything less than success in the CL will be considered a failure. Just winning the double got Deila sacked, and broad parts of the fan base were not particularity happy with Rodgers either. Celtic fans are hard to please - after all - they were a great European site in the 60-ties. Hard to forget. He can be the next Celtic manager, be a chance for him to get experience and to win something
This genuinely got a chuckle out of me, cheers for that mateBeating Brighton in your first game of the season when they were in the top ten by alphabetical default doesn’t count.
Hah, I wasn't counting that but I will now!Beating Brighton in your first game of the season when they were in the top ten by alphabetical default doesn’t count.

Yeah, that's 2, like I said.9 games won and only CP(5th - Round 3) and WHU(10 - Round 13) were in top 10 before you played them
Lampard v Gerrard would be a great battle for a season or two. Give them both extra incentive to improve too.He can be the next Celtic manager, be a chance for him to get experience and to win something
No shade on the teams above them but they include Everton, Villa and West Ham. I’m sure they would have fancied Their chances abit like how they probably still fancy their chances now. They also had 2 teams above them with 2 games less. interesting. Do you think the Glazers would have been strong if they sacked OGS anytime in the last 12 months? For most of this season, the great British media have tried their best to get Ole sacked and to keep their boy Frank in a job. Nothing against Lampard, but it's good to see strong owners making their own decisions and not pandering to the whims of the media.

No, that would have been giving in to media pressure, when Ole was in the early stages of a much needed major team re-build and cultural re-boot at United.interesting. Do you think the Glazers would have been strong if they sacked OGS anytime in the last 12 months?
media pressure or fan pressure? No, that would have been giving in to media pressure, when Ole was in the early stages of a much needed major team re-build and cultural re-boot at United.

Like Ole here? I don't think his connections and playing past are the problem. The fact that he couldn't get his expensively assembled team performing consistently is what caused his downfall. He knew what he was getting into and should have expected it. Chelsea sacked a manager the year he won them the PL.Good riddance for Chelsea. They are getting a proper manager instead of a guy who just got the job because of his connections and playing past.
Everton are doing well at the moment + they have Ancelotti who's an experienced manager. Villa will probably start dropping points at some point (i think? ) while West Ham are massively overachieving. No shade on the teams above them but they include Everton, Villa and West Ham. Worst points tally under Abramovic ownership

Update:That's a year old tweet showing a points tally halfway through the league season.
Conviniently ignoring the club he supposedly supports? Loads wanted Ole sacked last season. That does not mean it was the right callTweet
