Not sure why I'd take the job if I was lampard. He must think they aren't playing at their level and any increase he can get out of them will help his cv. I personally wouldn't go near it
His stock is quite low right now. Unlike Gerrard he has nothing on his CV trophy wise as a manager and arguably two failed tenures at PL clubs. Imagine he feels it's a situation where if he doesn't do well then it doesn't matter too much but if he succeeds it puts him in a good place to get another PL job.
I don't rate him at all, but strangely I think he at least makes a better Chelsea manager than an Everton one.

He'll never get another PL job unless his uncle somehow manages to pull some strings with a club he's friendly with. He wasn't good enough for the two he's had, he should never be getting another go, even if he wins something at Chelsea.
I actually think if he wins 6 of 10 and has a good run in the UCL then they might offer him a deal and then sack him by Jan next year.
If he wins the Champions league and gets them into Europe somehow then he'd quite clearly be in line for another PL job. We have seen the dross that gets appointed across the league consistently. Heck, Chelsea might even keep him on if that happens.
Wish him all the luck, I hope they do really well, no CL win, but enough that idiot Todd gives him his job back full time, he never should have lost it! In Frank they should trust.
He's comfortably the worst manager to grace the PL in the last 10 years. If Chelsea win anything it's not due to Lampard.

This is a completely mental decision. Ted has proven so far to be a terrible CEO throwing money into the wind. He should just manage them himself he clearly does not understand football at all. Frank must feel like he’s win the lotto. He’s nothing to lose as his stock couldn’t be any lower. Win win for him.
It’s a 60 day contract and he gets to have a farewell at the end of it, which he never really got to have when he left as a player or as a manager the first time. At least this time we know exactly when his last home game will be and he can get the send off he deserves. I'm personally very happy this is happening.
