Really well done. I thought it would be a disaster or underwhelming, but it put together well. Really sad to see Perry's state though. You could see how concerned the others were too.

Looking for the answers...
In the early episodes the Apartment numbers were 4 and 5. They changed them later to 19/20 as it dawned on the production staff that there numbers would be higher considering the views they had. And to be honest, thats the least of the inconsistencies of the show. Ross for example was born in March, October or December. He was also 29 for 2 or 3 years. Joey is the youngest, but turned 30 before Rachel. Rachel has at least a 12 month pregnancy. She was Also an Aquarius that was born in May... And then theres Phoebe who was raised by a lousy father that sung her songs as a baby that would influence her number one hit 'smelly cat' before he ran out on her mother before Phoebe and Ursula were born...

And I just realised Ive watched this show too much over the years.
 if you can recall all that from memory of you picking up during the show, I’m impressed!

You might want to get out and enjoy some sun though.

Also don’t forget that when Itchy plays Scratchy's skeleton like a xylophone, he strikes the same rib in succession, yet he produces two clearly different tones. I mean, what are we to believe, that this is a magic xylophone, or something? Ha ha, boy, I really hope somebody got fired for that blunder.

I just have one of those memories unfortunately. I ran to an ex a couple of years ago, hadnt seen her in two decades. Went for a drink together and I annoyed the feck out of her be remembering every little detail of stuff in our relationship she had forgotten about.

Might just be me, but was anyone else disappointed that Schwimmer didn’t remember the ball catching episode at all?

That was one of my favourite episodes and he was central to it but didn’t even remember it

I don’t like generally when you realise the people who play the characters don’t really watch the show

It may have been Lisa Kudrow who said she’s never watched the show properly. I think Matt too said the same.

Schwimmer has only started watching it because his daughter has.

It was like they finally decided to do a reunion but the decision makes all had different ideas (an interview, re-creating scenes, having other celebs talk about it, having fans talk about it, some little sketches)

And they just decided to throw it all together. I thought it was incohesive and messy tbh.

I actively avoided it because I really enjoyed Friends and wanted to leave it as a fond memory of the past where it belongs but the girlfriend insisted on it.

Feck her anyway.

Also I hope Mathew Perry's doing alright. Apparently he was just slurring a bit because he had a dental procedeure that day so hopefully that is the case.

Reading some of the reviews of it and going through this thread, it seems they did a decent job of it then. I stayed away from it because, you know, Corden and all that. But I'll probably give it a watch. I was thinking of going through the whole show again, actually. I haven't watched it in years and I think it's still on Netflix. Be a nice little nostalgia boost.

Yes, makes total sense that he went for a dental procedure mere hours before a heavily anticipated and preplanned reunion. Totally normal timing.

It's very obvious from his demeanor that he is suffering from something more serious than poorly teeth and gums.

Yeah I felt the same. It makes sense though, we’ve probably all seen every episode multiple times through the years. They made them and then never watched them again. It seemed like maybe only Matt Leblanc had watched it.

Everyone saying leblanc seems like a cool guy and I agree. Having watched his performance in episodes I always thought he must be a good laugh since you can't do a role like that without enjoying mocking yourself.
Yeah and he seemed fun when he did Top Gear. According to Chris Harris (current host) he's a good guy and they have stayed good friends, unlike Chris Evans.

a dental procedure?

well that's cleared that up thankfully
His teeth looked ridiculous, I have a feeling that he probably looked like he’d really let himself go and he/the producers decided to give him a bit of a makeover which included sorting his teeth out and he wasn’t used to them yet.

Felt the same. We actually turned it off about a third of the way in. James corden was crap, the ‘interviewing’ literally had nothing interesting in it. ‘We all stay in touch, it just works’ great? Then it was clips of the show I’ve watched for the past 20 years...sometimes recreating them but not that well.

Honestly just felt it was so ‘nothing’ yet I know people who rave about it.

Can't see the fascination with the cast of a finished TV show (much as I love the episodes) getting together and talking about it.

I think it would be incredible news if they made another episode (which they never will) but this.... I don't get the fuss about it.

It was watchable I suppose. Bit too sentimental and the script readings were a bit cringe inducing.

Oh, and it was 80% less enjoyable due to James fecking Corden.

David Beckham describing himself as a Monica was interesting. I saw him more as a Rachel.
