Isaksson and Berg are both quite good, Oscar Lewicki is meant to be quite good.
I'd say that Lindelöf and Forsberg are better than those two. Those two have been around for quite some time and have experience, but I rate the previous two mentioned as better. Lindelöf have a nice season with Benfica behind him, and a U21 european gold as well. Forsberg was a central figure in getting Leipzig up in bundesliga and voted as the best player in 2. bundesliga.

Winnable game for both sides.

Only questions for Ireland are whether Walters will start, who will make up our CB partnership and who will be the fourth midfielder in our likely diamond.

I haven't watched Sweden play in a while but Forsberg's supposed to be quite handy.

Lewicki, Lindelöf and Augustinsson are talents from the U21 Euro winning side. Guidetti's alright I guess but is more of a cheerleader than a secret weapon.

I see, admittedly don't know all that much about the Swedish team but I'll keep my eye out for the pair of them; player of the season in Bundesliga 2 is no small feat especially to win it in a team as highly rated as RB are.

This is a hard one to predict - Ireland looked poor at times in the qualifiers but also managed to take 4 points off Germany. Stating the obvious, I think a lot will hinge on how the Irish handle Ibrahimovic and if they can create anything themselves. Robbie Keane is getting on a bit, but Shane Long can be a handful at times. I think they need the likes of McCarthy and Whelan to provide the steel in midfield and look to hit on the break.
I do think though, Sweden might win this group if Ibrahimovic is on his game, with a typically hard-working Scandinavian team backing him up. Italy look very average and Belgium are a collection of good players rather than a good team.

I can't wait for this. I think we'll sneak a boring 1-0 win. It won't be a classic but we won't care if we get the result.

He is 24 and playing for a 2nd division German team. Hardly Marcus Rashford.
What a weird comparison. Forsberg plays for RB Leipzig and he is pretty good. Definitely the one to keep an extra eye on tomorrow.

Not a comparison just not a player you would call potentially good when still playing 2nd tier football at the age of 24. The comparison with Rashford is that he is 6 years younger and playing for Man United.

They got promoted to the Bundesliga. So he's gonna be playing with the big boys now.

Really looking forward to this game, even though I'm a neutral. Sweden were great last week against Wales, zlatan tore us to shreds but even when he went off there was so much energy from the team, if they were that up for a friendly then we could be in for something special tomorrow.

Forsberg looked really good as well, i'd never heard of him but he was really impressive, surprised he isn't playing club football at a higher level.

look at vardy, if people should learn anything from leicester it's that there are talented players playing in lower divisions.

So if you're not like Rashford you can't have potential?..
He was voted player of the year in the league and his team were promoted to Bundesliga. But I guess as long as you're not playing for one of the biggest teams in the world and you're over 19 years old you have no shot at becoming a good player, especially compared to the sheer quality that's currently making up the Swedish NT...

More of a jokey post. I'll see what he's like tomorrow.

The Swedes are 1-1 specialists. Think most of their qualifiers ended that way

I think this will be a draw. I'm looking forward to it. 10 of us going down on the beer in Kilkenny for the day. Can't wait. A draw or Ireland to win 2-1 with Shane Long scoring. That's my hope anyway. Shane Duffy or Ciaran Clark to keep Zlatan quiet.

Forsberg was class against Scotland. That's the one and only time I've ever watched him but yeah, could cause a few problems today.

The day that both ourselves and the rest of the European football fraternity have been looking forward to has finally landed lads. The real Ireland will be lining out.

COYBIG, lets show the rest of them how it's done, yeah.

2-0 Ireland Sheasy and Long.
