Yeah, they were 2 days fitter.
...okay,I play for two teams, I train three times a week and play two games a week.
I also work 40 hours a week and have two kids.
I also play just outside semi professional tier so it's a decent standard.
So please, don't lecture me on fitness. Thanks.
Also played v Nowich where they took the last 45 mins off.Don't care we lost that, it was fecking unfair at the first place.
The pressing from them is too obvious to see.
Move on.
It is a utd forum. We should not be happy when Utd don't winTo rub more salt to the bitterness that is the moaners here in caf.
Sack ole.
Never said the team is terrible or that Ole is clueless,We couldn't handle Chelsea's press because of tiredness. We couldn't press like that ourselves because of tiredness. Saying we should have played a full team of reserves, fair. Saying the whole team is terrible and Ole is clueless, ridiculous.
I'm not happy. It is a utd forum. We should not be happy when Utd don't win
We did go long. Did you watch the game?Never said the team is terrible or that Ole is clueless,
Merely stated the players that started couldn't handle the press, it has nowt to do with tiredness at all.
Why not go long? We went long two or three times in the game and created a chance every time, instead we persisted in playing out from the back every time.
Once again, nowt to do with tiredness.
If looked after correctly? No....okay,
So muscle soreness won't affect performances?
It's not a free get out of jail card, for me it's reasonably stated here from the manager himself that it's unfair for United. If looked after correctly? No.
Hence the multitude of physio's, masseur's and conditioning coaches a team like United has.
Seriously, this tiredness excuse has to stop. It's giving the team a get out of jail free card for playing the same amount of games as Chelsea in the same amount of time period.
I'm not happy.
Felt we should spank Chelsea.
Yes we should be beating Chelsea but their is alot of blame to go around, not just solskjaer, De Gea was brutal along with Maguire and James. Also a ref who does not book a team who fouls 21 times several dangerous tackles high and from behindI'm not happy.
Felt we should spank Chelsea.
Look, I'm not daft enough to think that fatigue isn't a small factor, but to say it's the only factor is embarrassing and quite frankly wrong. It's not a free get out of jail card, for me it's reasonably stated here from the manager himself that it's unfair for United.
I hope the masseurs have some black magic to tend the muscles if you want to say we didn't have a world class recovery team, compared to Chelsea.
You say no excuse, but deep down, do you actually think, Bruno, Rashford, AWB can be that fecking inept to misplace a simple pass? Just think about it.
GK error is one thing, but the team performance as a whole, is full of tiredness.
It's a squad depth issue actually. We cannot win games with our backup players. We've only just got our first team able to win consistently. But it is running them into the ground.Fitter? They've rotated a lot more and they had more rest. We've been running on empty for the last 5 games now. It's a management issue.
Exactly.Or the depth in the squad isn't good enough, hence we can't trust the fringe players to get the job done.

I love what Ole has been doing, but if we looked exhausted vs West Ham I will be questioning him again. I have no idea why Bruno played that much, really, that he even started.True. But I can tell when a player needs resting. And, a whole group of them.
Yes. And it's a management issue to not be aware of the need to prioritise because of said lack of depth. It's a squad depth issue actually. We cannot win games with our backup players. We've only just got our first team able to win consistently. But it is running them into the ground.
But Chelsea played their first 11 bar Pulisic. Our fringe players were never going to get that job done no matter who we had. It's a squad depth issue actually. We cannot win games with our backup players. We've only just got our first team able to win consistently. But it is running them into the ground.
You would think professional athletes could cope after 3 months rest. Like when people say players are tired at the beginning of the season in October because they played a few matches in a week. Tiredness is only a factor if you lose. If you get the result it's a non thoughtI play for two teams, I train three times a week and play two games a week.
I also work 40 hours a week and have two kids.
I also play just outside semi professional tier so it's a decent standard.

Nail on head. It's a squad depth issue actually. We cannot win games with our backup players. We've only just got our first team able to win consistently. But it is running them into the ground.
Not you, just picked your quote to generally moan at that. They couldn't handle it just like vs Southampton. We should have just gone long, that's fair. Especially against Southampton, why we didn't go long to Rashford vs KWP for a bit I don't know.Never said the team is terrible or that Ole is clueless,
Merely stated the players that started couldn't handle the press, it has nowt to do with tiredness at all.

Depends on if the original poster is writing in British or American English. In British English, teams are as you say, plural, rather than singular - however, singular verb for a collective noun is used in American EnglishAre*
We ended up playing basically the starting 11. Rotation my ass.But Chelsea played their first 11 bar Pulisic. Our fringe players were never going to get that job done no matter who we had.
Plus we did actually rotate today, dont forget.
I agree with this idea, our squad depth is not all that. No one can step off the bench and get the starter spot from the XI. Grealish and Sancho will help this cause.Or the depth in the squad isn't good enough, hence we can't trust the fringe players to get the job done.
They've probably have a better manager too.Is Chelsea's depth far better or do they have a stronger set up which is less reliant on individual brilliance (of which we have more)?
Top 4 trophy is more valuable.Who needs trophies anyway...
This.Chelsea were just better. Tiredness is an excuse.
What a useless post, opinion masquerading as fact.Don't care we lost that, it was fecking unfair at the first place.
The pressing from them is too obvious to see.
Move on.
Lampard rotated his XI since the re-start everytime he lost games or players failed to perform. As soon as he lost to West Ham, he benched Rudiger & Alonso. As soon as he lost to Sheffield, he benched Christensen & James. As soon as Abraham & Barkley aren't performing, he dropped them. Both Kante & Kovacic have been missing few games due to injuries during the restart.Fitter? They've rotated a lot more and they had more rest. We've been running on empty for the last 5 games now. It's a management issue.
So we... Rotated them in?We ended up playing basically the starting 11. Rotation my ass.
So you're not a sports scientist or fitness expert....I play for two teams, I train three times a week and play two games a week.
