If Poch takes over, how does he fix this mess?

Well, she managed to steal a living not able to sing for one of the most successful girl groups and bag the sexiest guy on the planet, maybe she can teach these bunch of charlatans the same thing? Jlingz & Rashy would love a career in fashion though.

Poch would relegate us. He did worse with a better Spurs team, it’s terrifying to thing how far he’d make us drop.

At least Poch would be the right manager to succeed OGS, rather than the daft 180's we've been doing from Moyes to LVG to Mourinho to OGS. Poch also wants hard working players, likes local talent and uses the academy. It'd be a much easier transition over to Poch than it was for any of the managers before.
The opportunity is there now to get who I'm certain was the club's first choice when they fired Mourinho, we'd be fools not to grasp it with both hands.

All the coaching in the world won't improve a lot of our players , they are barely premier league standard never mind Man Utd standard.
There has been a visible improvement to several players in our team. The only exception are players who are terrible. Like pereira and lingard

Was a good point at one of leagues toughest places, with a very weakened team. We were appalling don’t get me wrong.

But we’ve scored three goals in 4 of our last six, and lost 1 in 8. Were nowhere near good enough at the minute but I wouldn’t sack. If we beat villa and spurs were actually in a good place.

I actually agree with this massively. It's about time we focused on the manager's job being to implement a working system and improving the players. Stop giving every manager an excuse of needing more time.
I thought it was quite telling, that Spurs announced Mourinho as the new 'head coach'.

Get someone into look after the clubs recruitment strategy and hold the head coach accountable for improving and using the players at his disposal.

First thing would be to get Lingard and Pereira nowhere near the squad.

Give Garner and Gomes a chance in their stead.

Realistically, he probably can't. His chances of succeeding are just tangibly better than Ole's.

He's a coach and a fecking good one. He would do much better with this squad than Ole did. The only real reason Spurs tailed down so much is that half the key players didn't get better contracts and so decided to run them down. It's hard to motivate them after a while. He barely freshened up the squad in the past couple seasons.

Considering how he got Spur’s front three to play I would expect he would get them moving off the ball for starters.

Our midfield can only be improved by signing 2 players.
Good luck trying to get Martial to move.

From what i remember, it worked well until teams pressed us. Then we would panic and fall apart.
We had issues with pressing at the beginning but improved in that aspect of the game.

Our problem was we had a passed it Rooney who would ruin every attack. Also we had no right winger and LVG was looking at Flippe Anderson and Mane but he was sacked before fixing the issue.

He doesn't. As much as it would be great to think the solution is to change one man, it is not. We have a decent first 11 but a terrible squad.

We need at least one or two summers with major transfers in and to keep the same philosophy.

It can only be fixed in the transfer window. You can't win PL games without a midfield.

I'd actually wait for Nagelsmann, Rose or Ten Haag rather than go for Poch personally. We need to stop suffering from tunnel vision and stop looking for solutions from just our own league.

Someone like Rangnick as caretaker, before he is moved to run the football side of the club would be the sensible move IMO and it would pave the way for the aforementioned choices.

No manager does anything with this side without investment, need midfielders, need a CF and probably still need a starting RW. Once all that has been done then worry about getting a replacement manager

Poch would be a moron to take the job now. He'd be walking into a team full of deficiency, without the means to do anything about it.

Exactly. In 6 months we'd be calling for his head. Unlike Spurs that seems to have a confidence isue we actually are full of crap players. There is no easy solution here but suffer until we get 3,4 extra players in.

He wouldn’t fix it but you would at least have someone who is going to coach the players and set up a style of play. He’d need additions to the squad obviously but we’d at least have a chance of improvement.

We’re sticking with Ole just out of desperation and hoping it magically all works out. Ole can be given loads of time and money but you’re still entrusting the future of the club to a ver limited manager that no other Premier League team would employ.

He’d try and Instill yet another style of play, get mixed results at first and then the fans would turn on him before he had chance to see if it would work and then potentially be out of a job.

Poch would be mad to join us at the moment.

Ole manages like it is football manager. Poch is an actual manager. Enough said.

The way we are being run, nothing will fix this shambles. Only a new young wonder manager like Sir Alex might stand a chance, but we won’t find that kind of guy again.

No one, not even God King Poch could turn Pereria, Jones and Fred into a functioning midfield.

We can speculate all we want about x, y and z manager. Fact is that regardless of who is in the chair we need to replace quite a few players

Even that won’t work.

Many people have said on here “sack him unless we get top 4” so the second we start faltering, a large portion of fans will turn on him and want him out.

This is definitely a team of players better than our position and points tally currently show and this despite injuries, we just need a better manager and Poch’ definitely is one. I’m sure he would be up for the challenge and have us playing better than we have done this season.
Ole is lost and his only PL experience to call upon is getting Cardiff relegated, all I know is whoever our next manager will be it certainly cannot carry on much longer under Ole.
