I hope kohli is not getting a thought of having harshal Patel in the Indian team. Bang average bowler who is having a purple patch.

Yeah outside of Butler, no one really strikes fear into the opposition.

Injuries and withdrawals definitely hasn’t helped. That being said, they’ve said recovered decently here.
Looks well short though. Looks like a 200 wicket and RCB have an all-star batting lineup.

Losing Tewatia and Morris was a big blow. 190 might have made it interesting.

This match could be a turning point for rcb. Padikkal is a key figure to their success this season. Brilliant innings.

Archer now ruled out of all of the IPL for RR. To be honest given the situation in India and the fact that he would have to quarantine for 2 weeks coming back in a hotel, it was always a non-starter in my view.

And the fact that RR are anyways going to finish last or second last, no point risking the injury.

Mostly harmless
Have been saying since before the tournament began, MI will be extremely lucky to finish in top 4.
It's not just luck. There seems to ample amount of complacency. The team is still the best the tournament has to offer bar Delhi. But it's just lazy cricket to rely on your talent to keep bailing you out rather than play with a coherent plan.

Pandya still not firing is a big reason for them struggling. Also, feel chennai pitch is not suiting them. Maybe a change of scene will do them wonders.

Yes a bland start. With all the covid around the country and injuries to star players like Stokes, Archer is definitely not helping. Shows how dead the game can be without the fans.

Morgan’s terrible IPL continues. Run out without facing a ball. Confusion as the ball came back off Morgan’s bat (at the non strikers end). Not sure either of the batsman is to be blamed there, but Tripathi was halfway down the wicket almost & then asked Morgan to turn around. Tripathi better go on to score a big one here anyway

Curran should of came in ahead of Dhoni. CSK need at least 170 here minimum.

Think they might've let it slip a bit at the end there.
