So another easy win for Juventus that don't set them well for the Champions League because when they play in Europe they aren't used to fight.

Great to see two english youngsters were involved....Wilmot played his first game for Udinese and Mavididi was on the Juventus bench :)
Mavididi plays for Juventus U23 in Serie C. For some months he has been playing not very well. The team was too weak, probably lacking experience (first year in Serie C for many of them). Now he is beginning to show his potential and probably this was a sort of reward.

yes that is another one of those things that are repeated over and over again until they become undisputed truth. I wonder how much more competitive is the Dutch league to let Ajax kick out Real, or Serie A when Juve reached 2 finals in 4 years or Bunde when Bayern won a few years ago.
The reality is that it is an incredibly tough competition that depends on many variables and it has been dominated by essentially 2 teams in the last decade.
I understand that all this wins in a row are painful and boring for non juve fans, but I am not sure that hypothesis is true

He should get more chances, clearly has enough quality.
He had some good games for Verona last year, guess Juve might aswell give him a few starts in the run in given they'll win the title in next 3-4 games.

Parma 1 up over Genoa with ten minutes left and would be 15 points clear of the bottom 3. I do wonder what league tables @Santi_Mesut_Alexis_87 actually looks at.

Finally a home win for Parma, despite a fecking poor second half (nothing new, tbh). Genoa should have scored at least 2/3 goals.

Now i think we just need 3/4 more points to stay up.

Was wondering how Chris Wilmot was getting on as Udinese seemed to have picked up lately so thought he might've been starting before.

Completely forgot Mavididi went to Juve. He didn't do much on loan at Preston last year and then was injured at Charlton so doubt he'll break through there given what's infront of him.

Hope Inter miss out on top 4, they are such a boring team to watch.

1 shot on target at home to Spal after 70 minutes.

And the big managers they're most linked with, Mourinho and Simeone, are hardly going to change that. Seems to have been in their DNA recently to be an overly cautious side. To be fair their defence is by far their strongest asset so it's not too surprising that they focus on that the past season or so.

Napoli only draw 1-1 at Sassuolo.

Can only reach 90 points now if they win all remaining 11 games which ain't happening as they'll obviously focus more on europa league.

Napoli are gonna finish just 30 points behind Juventus at this rate. Ok, they use the league as a training for the Europa League because Juventus are just too strong, but they should have still done better.

Napoli will comfortably get top 4. No need to play all starters and tire out the team while competing for the Europa League.

They have every chance to win that so Ancelotti is doing the right thing by rotating.

Scudetto 5 points nearer after this round. We need max 15 points more. Now Juventus are focusing on the next match in CL. Go out against Atleti would mean that this season is finished.

Probably the worst game i have watched this season. Just flat and without any chance created. Roma very, very lucky to get away with a win.

Cagliari are a bit like us: fecking strong at home, very poor away. Fiorentina can basically say goodbye to the Europa League, albeit they still have the Coppa Italia to play (don't think they are gonna win it against the likes of Milan and Atalanta).

Am I going crazy or is this becoming very common? Zidane went back, Jardim went back, pretty sure there were a couple of other examples this season too.
Ranieri back at Roma.
Ivan Juric has been hired, sacked, rehired, sacked, rehired, sacked in the space of 3 years at Genoa
Neil Lennon back at Celtic

I don't know if they can manage to win the Coppa Italia, but I think that this is their goal. Probably they are not very interested to play in Europe League next year and they choosed to try with the italian cup. If Milan and Atalanta are going to focus on the Champion League qualification it is possible that Fiorentina can beat them.

Roma are playing so you know what that means, the pathetic Olsen has conceded another soft goal. It must be pushing 25 goals he should have done better on for the season now.

Bologna have finally turned a corner under Sinisa and today's win is a proof of it, giving they faced a very in-form side.

Juve back to playing bad football, being dominated by Genoa.

0 shots in the first half.

Mandzukic has been in very bad form since returning from injury, Moise Kean should be playing. Alex Sandro will lose his place to Spinazzola if his form continues too

Much better in the second half by Juve since changing to a 4-3-3. This is a good game, needs Moise Kean to come on though

Why Juve set up like that versus easy teams is beyond me. It's why I tend to tune out after 30 minutes or so.

Milan derby tonight though! A win puts Gattuso's men 4 points clear of 4th!

Damn, Goran Pandev still going. No idea he was still in Serie A, already looked old during Inter's treble season.

Edit:  what a game by him

15 minutes for Juve to save their undefeated league season. They don’t seem to care though

Pandev, still a class act.

EDIT: wtf he's still only 35, thought he'd be in his early 40s by now.

Juve in general have been pretty awful viewing this Serie A campaign. The two games where they've looked class have been in the CL against us at OT and against A.Madrid in Turin.

Genoa deserve a third. There were birds sitting next to Genoa’s box for like 30 minutes at one point, Genoa's goalkeeper didn't make one single save all game.

Genoa taking 4 points vs Juve this season, not bad. Hopefully Romero at CB for them can continue his development and become a starter for Argentina.
