Deserved win for Atalanta, they looked much fitter than Napoli..

I've the feelin Napoli will be out from the title race soon given they'll miss their three top african players (Osimhen, Anguissa, Koulibaly) for the next 40-60 days between injuries and AFCON

He was unlucky to be second string to one of best PL strikers in history in Aguero when he was at City, and had Balotelli as his competition who was like Mancini's son competing with him(even though he was far better than Balotelli), so people who watched him just in Premiership don't rate him that highly, even though he was still very good player for City too, altough never at his top level that he was for every team he played.

Easily one of best strikers in last 10 years or so.
Highly efficient off the bench too

Dzeko doesn't have the psycho gene that all the top top strikers must have. The one that makes them eat a baby if it means scoring the 19th goal in a 20-0 paddlin' of a conference side in a preseason friendly

Glad Atlanta won, makes the Seria A title race much more interesting. Also more likely that Juve doesn't make top 4.

Were Verona 3 down at one stage? Sort of team that can finish above Roma this season.

How are we not winning this by at least three goals…? So wasteful, if this bites us in the a***…

Three games to the break, then Juve-Napoli at home on Jan 6. Allegri’s latest 4-2-3-1 seems more promising than 4-3-3 and 4-4-2, but the conversion rate is atrocious… Venezia and Bologna incoming away games are crucial.

With Atalanta now seemingly consistent enough to challenge for the title, it must only be Napoli (seriously unlucky with injuries, poor sods) our current benchmark for the 4th spot!?

Allegri pissed by yesterday toothlessness and the top spot in the CL group, possibly flattering our donkeys before the next crucial game away at Venezia. If anything, nobody can’t fault his deep understanding of men management and psychological momentum. Did he ever play Hattrick, maybe? Play-it-cool, match-of-the-season, etc.

Injury hit Milan, playing a bogey team like Udinese who've just sacked their manager and Juve just dropped points. I smell a potential upset here.

Juve ain't finishing top 4, 1-1 with Venezia.
Yeah, there is no way this flat bunch of passengers can provide and sustain the spark needed to kickstart a proper run. Our only hope is getting a couple of impact players in January through swaps or loans. We are even hearing whispers of a De Ligt for Lukaku straight swap in January, and similarly dramatic moves.

Don't think that's happening. Why on earth would a Chelsea side stacked with CBs swop out Lukaku and have to play Werner for crucial part of the season?!

Probably because Rudiger and Christiansen both have contract issues and Lukaku just isn’t effective against the top sides.

I could definitely see it, as Chelsea have been shaky at the back recently. Maybe Tuchel thinks players heads aren’t in the game.

Well his agent today said Lukaku was very close to joining Juventus in 2019 in a swap involving also Dybala and Mandzukic (Manchester United and Juve found the agreement but Dybala didnt) so I wouldn't be surprised if they try want to sign him again and I think the player would be glad to return to Serie A.

Feels like Atalanta's time to me with Napoli losing at home to Empoli.

Depending on what Inter do, they could end weekend only 2 points off the top.

Beautiful goal by Sanchez! If the pass from Barella was made with purpose it's even more nice.

Calhanoglu has been signing of the season so far in my opinion. Inter have lost Eriksen, Lukaku and Hakimi, they got replacements for total of 12.5 milion, while they earned around 180 or so. Of course, there is no resale value in Džeko for example, but Marotta has done incredible job and Inzaghi has got team firing right now.

They should win next couple of games too, but Atalanta do seem like they are ready to pounce on any slip-ups Inter make. I'm pretty sure Napoli and Milan are way too incosistent to mount serious title challenge, but Atalanta could do it.

Great win for Roma that.

Watch Mourinho dine out on that result for about three months now.

I can feel a rant against anyone who likes Atalanta's style of football brewing from him.

And Inter flies away

Yeah, hard to see how they won't win the title this year either

Must say that was a tough offside on Giroud, costing Milan a point.

It is also tough for the other teams chasing Napoli. Juventus, Roma, and Fiorentina would have found themselves 6 points away from 2 top 4 spots. The prospects would look much better.
