Yes ... They are sitting sixth right now but it's end of season that tells the tale.
Perhaps that would be the point at which to suggest sacking him then?

Moyes incidentally has finished in the top 7 in the league 11 times in the last 20 years. West Ham have finished top 7 three times in the past 25 years - want to take a guess who the manager was for two of those seasons? If anything, he’s way too good for West Ham, not the other way round.

Moyes and West Ham are a perfect fit.

A club that will be pulling 68,000 soon enough but with none of the baggage of the past.

It's the perfect job for a bloke who wants to manage a big club but without the baggage and PR of a big club.

That's the whole point. West Ham has pretty much reached to a point where they now need a manager brilliance to move to that top 5/6 positions. They now have a team that will linger around 7/8/9 always (be it Moyes or not).

You don't say that he is doing what is being expected and so let's continue with it. A winner mentality would be that we have a brilliant opportunity to move to the next stage and if a brilliant manager can do it, let's do it.

Yes, it's a risk but worth taking one.

Already tried that with Pellegrini and it failed.

In Paqueta Bowen and Kudus West Ham have three of the better attacking players in the league, definitely feel they should be aiming for a more progressive manager after this season.

Can see this being Paquetas last season at the same time though.

They're all good but they're not great, and like you say they won't stick around forever either. I do think though that if they'd a manager who demanded more intensity they'd be a scarier prospect. The stadium really gets going when they've something to cheer and yet they constantly sit back and defend deep. Gary O'Neil or Postecoglou might be good fits for them if they did get rid of Moyes, not that Postecoglou would go there of course.

People talk about a team being top 8 can become a Champions League qualifier like a Football Manager save. It's not like that in real life: these clubs will always have ups and downs. Leicester just got relegated which proves that those fairy tale stories where clubs steadily climb up the ladder and stay on top are usually the exception, not the norm.

He's the type of player United need right now. He's miles ahead of Højlund. but Højlund has plenty of time to improve.

West Ham like many of these teams, never can hold onto their best players long enough. Also never can buy that player that then makes the difference. The signings under the radar are fine, but when they are not, ultimately they get them wrong.
By next season, 3 of those players will be playing in bigger teams...

22 goal contributions now this season. Should really be going to the Euros.

Having tremendously impressive individual season.
He'll go to the Euro's but he probably won't feature much unfortunately.
