Ah no. He deserves a lot of it for being an utter bellend. Some of you hold really bizarre grudges. Jesse was pivotal in us winning some big games and even trophies as an academy product.
He’s now quite rightly gone, but the bile thrown at him is just weird
Nowhere near as much is f a bellend as the majority of people keeping this thread aliveAh no. He deserves a lot of it for being an utter bellend.
The way we have treated a boy barely out of his teenage years is disgraceful.
He should feel fortunate that he was here as long as he was.
I kinda support JLignz on this one: this is a pretty standard pratice, even for small portuguese teams will use a players who's been there for long and is leaving at the end of the season.Tweet

You're just mad nobody purchases you a key, and keep you on trial every damn time. How ungrateful. He was given chance after chance to become a starter and bottled it.
Academy product who used his academy product status as an excuse to get away with being a childish twat and leaking stories to the press. Not sure why he was expecting the red carpet to be rolled out for him when he left.
Needs more hashtags. The lad looks happy!
Well he could find a mirror and talk to the guy in it.The only person that can give him answers has been sacked. Don’t know what else he wants.
Bear Grylls drank his own piss to survive in the wild and you didn't hear him say it was to take the pain away as painful as it was.
Empathetic much?Bear Grylls drank his own piss to survive in the wild and you didn't hear him say it was to take the pain away as painful as it was.
Not the whole video, but he has pretty much said what everyone has been talking about for seasons now, that -- particularly during the Ole era -- it was a free for all, there was no control. John Murtough was the guy to call him up and ask him if he wanted days off with the Rangnick thing, Lingard said he just wanted to play football which is why he wanted to be loaned out.Anyone watched the whole video yet? What's the TLDR overview?
I haven't listened and don't plan to but there was a TLDW on reddit:Anyone watched the whole video yet? What's the TLDR overview?
The TLDR is that Lingard is a cringey manchild with limited footballing ability and a worse sense of fashion. Didn't watch the video, though.Anyone watched the whole video yet? What's the TLDR overview?
His mother was unwell and led to himself becoming unwell because he was having to cope with several high pressure situations at once (A sick mother, being his siblings guardian and playing for United). Many people turn to drink in those situations. Obviously it isn't the answer but he isn't the first and won't be the last. The biggest problem with him is that just because he was an academy player he felt like he's special that deserved special things.
He forgot about Cleverley, Januzaj, and dozen of others who were a much bigger talent than him and had to leave the club because they didn't fit in the club's plan. And no, they didn't get a send off either.
Lingard is a decent player, I would love to keep him as a squad player if not for his questionable attitude and leaks to the media. If he had a decent personality, I wouldn't mind him playing at United until he retires.
Blaming alcohol is basically blaming himself for a lack of self control. It's not like he's 15. And I'm fairly certain drinking is okay as long as you're not overdoing it.
