Julian Nagelsmann | Sacked and replaced by Tuchel

I'd still take him in the morning because he will be a multiple league winner and Champions League winner. Bad night tonight, it happens

Klopp lost 7-2 to Aston Villa doesn't make him a bad manager either

On a serious note. Once they took one of their centre backs off they looked ropey as feck when they changed the system.

I truly held Nagelsmann in high esteem, but that vest...
He deserves to be on the cover of the Liverpool Spice Boys album, he'd really look like the lead of that boys band all dressed in white...
Anyone talented enough to photoshop that?

Many laughed at me when I said Hasenhüttl's Leipzig was more impressive.

Never wanna hear this mug touted for the United job again.

Hipster manager 101

As I say, nothing wrong with him in perfect world. But he is to young and naive.

Schooled by Solskjaer and should be good for his development.

Manager for ManUtd? Not in near future, Lot to learn.

Tactically so naive....at 3-0 he should've shut up shop yet I couldn't believe my eyes when they were leaving just 2 back to defend.

And that jacket....wtf was that?!?

He needs a bow-tie to complete his look.
I'll be honest. I dont dislike the jacket ..

He is very young and clearly a good manager.. All the praise made me expect more.
He'll be fine. Hope they beat PSG.. Ole could give him a few pointers.

Hilarious how he retreated to the dugout. Clearly has them well drilled tactically but don’t like some of the gamesmanship his side show.

With a team like that who press so much you just have to try and tire them out. Once they are tired as you saw after the 65th or so minute our players found much more space. This should be a lesson for us, tire these high pressing sides and then once the space opens up, cut through them.

And if they are some athletic freaks that can press for the entire 90 mins then fair play

Admittedly haven’t seen much of him, but they didn’t look like a particularly interesting footballing side, even in the 20-30 or so minutes they were on top... I was expecting something a lot more impressive, given the hype.

If he lines up like in the return leg we’ll do the same. The wingbacks nor midfield offer any support to the back 3 at all.

A bit worrying how open they were at the back towards the end. Even when we had scored they didnt try to shore it up. He seems very gung-ho.

Just another horribly dressed victim of a more tactically astute manager.

Who the feck does get players over the half line when you are only one goal down and is up against Rashford and Martial.

Some serious foolish decisions.

I knew this thread would be funny regardless of result

The posts here until half time make it seem like he's the second coming
But the posts after our second / third...

I imagine it will be the same when we play them next time (although we should have qualified by then and allow second teamers to play)

Honestly, why he thought the way to get back in the game was to add more attacking players and leave Rashford, Martial, Cavani and Bruno against a back four with no cover was madness. This might temper the hype a little.
Not a fan of the diving though - that's clearly a tactics and really not what you want to see.

He's not very good is he? I mean what is he? 34? He's never played the game, has managed for about 4 years, what experience does he have? Seem's to have a plan A and nothing more. He's no where near good enough for an elite club
