Leicester City Football Club (nicknamed The Foxes, The Blues, City, and Blue Army), are a professional football club based in Leicester. Leicester City was founded in 1884 by a group of old boys of Wyggeston School as Leicester Fosse, before joining the Football Association in 1890. In 1919, when League football resumed after World War I, Leicester Fosse ceased trading due to financial difficulties of which little is known. The club was reformed as Leicester City Football Club, particularly appropriate as the borough of Leicester had recently been given city status.

Leicester City have enjoyed moderate success through the years - winning 3 League Cups, and reaching the final of the FA Cup 4 times - prior to their odds-defying Premier League title win in 2015/16. Leicester City's most prominent rivals are Nottingham Forest, Coventry City and Derby County, and they have been playing their home games at The King Power Stadium (originally named Filbert Way) since 2002.

Leicester rested their entire team for this match. It is an away game so we are going to be outplayed. We just need to make the few chances we get count.

Not quite, and they got 30mins extra time too.

We however, will probably only start about 2 of the players who started tonight, so we're not going to be any less fresh. And we now need a big reaction

    [cente]De Gea
    Valencia - Jones - Smalling - Young
    Pogba - Matic
    Mata - Lingard - Martial
    Lukaku

I think we will bounce back and win this one fairly big. Will not change much though with City smashing Bournemouth and improving the goaldifference anyway,.

Don't let that little rat Vardy get his tail up and you're already nearly there.

Literally got no idea how they are this season. Still basing all of my opinions on two seasons ago.

    Isn't Valencia injured ?

    De Gea
    Young - Smalling - Jones - Shaw
    Matic - Pogba
    Mata - Lingard - Martial
    Lukaku
    We'll win this 3-1.

There is no way we are playing an away game with 2 at the back. We are way too conservative for that.

We usually play a good game against Leicester so quietly confidently for this one. We need a response after tonight and Leicester will be a tough opponent. I won’t be able to watch it though!

    Team should be...

    --------------De Gea--------------
    Young--Smalling--Jones--Shaw
    -------Pogba---------Matic-------
    Mata---------Lingard---------Martial
    --------------Lukaku--------------

Subs: Romero, Lindelof, Rojo, Herrera, McTominay, Rashford, Zlatan

With Valencia injured I think we might see Shaw get a PL start and Jose revert to the 3-4-3.

Don't know how the game will turn out to be, but one thing is for certain, United will park the bus.

Probably this, with the obvious either Martial or Rashford. Though could be neither and putting Herrera in midfield 3, or lindelof at the back for a back 3 and having Mata and Lingard play off Lukaku.

    De Gea
    Young Jones Smalling Blind
    Pogba Matic
    Mata Lingard Rashford
    Lukaku

Exactly the type of team we will beat 9.5 out of 10 times just cos of how they play.
I think we will beat em

Mahrez and Vardy played for at least an hour on Tuesday but otherwise the first team was pretty much all rested.

Expecting us to win still. Was going to head home for Christmas but I'll probably stick around for it.

After tonight’s performance, I don’t want to see the majority of those players on.

    De Gea
    Young Smalling Jones Shaw
    Matic Pogba
    Lingard
    Mata Lukaku Rashford

Nah, don't think so. Its the possession teams that often have us running scared and Leicester is far from that. I'm expecting an exciting game.

When was the last time PL game was a late kick off on Saturday?

Also don't think Valencia is injured, he said on twitter that he is fine (might mean anything that it's not a serious injury) but even on physioroom Valencia is not listed as injured.

Quarter to eight? On a Saturday? What kind of feckwittery?

This will be a tough game for us and we will be lucky to scrape a win. A hard fought 2-1, I would say.

Really not looking forward to his game at all. Mahrez and Grey will cause us problems. Going to be a tough one.

I too was under the impression that Valenica would be available for this. He tweeted he was ok, physioroom has no report on him and Mourinho hasn't said anything to suggest otherwise.

Out on the lash, at a bar with no sport, so I'll be skipping.......not that arsed to be honest. Feeling a bit flat after our last few 'performances'.

    Leicester 1 - 2 Man United
    Lukaku, Martial

Wonder if they will just sit deeper and deeper and deeper again and let us have our way with them. Come on Foxes, lay down and let us have this one lad.
