Yeah. City have been waiting years for Pep to be available. What happens if City win all four tournaments they are in? Pellegrini still gets the boot?
Yes, he wont do bettet than that. Do you think they would say No to Pep when everything is agreed. Wont happen anyway. What happens if City win all four tournaments they are in? Pellegrini still gets the boot?
Favorites for the league. One nil home win against Everton takes them into the league cup final. Decent draw in the Champions League. Only a few more games in the FA cup to go. They could end up with some kind of treble.Yes, he wont do bettet than that. Do you think they would say No to Pep when everything is agreed. Wont happen anyway.
You mean the Yaya quadruple, that turns to shite in March and they end up only winning the league cup?Favorites for the league. One nil home win against Everton takes them into the league cup final. Decent draw in the Champions League. Only a few more games in the FA cup to go. They could end up with some kind of treble.
Every single season at this point that gets bought up.Favorites for the league. One nil home win against Everton takes them into the league cup final. Decent draw in the Champions League. Only a few more games in the FA cup to go. They could end up with some kind of treble.
This season? Nah, would be very surprised if they get top four.Chelsea will finish top four sadly. Way above Liverpool at any rate. And that hurts saying.
Not sure about top 4, but I think they are finally going to on that run of results people have been predicting all season. A Europa league spot most likely I think.Chelsea will finish top four sadly. Way above Liverpool at any rate. And that hurts saying.
Not this season. Would require almost title winning form until end of the season to do soChelsea will finish top four sadly. Way above Liverpool at any rate. And that hurts saying.
It is a title winning team. Not this season. Would require almost title winning form until end of the season to do so
4th will get 70 points, for Chelsea to do that they need 47 points out of 54. Their best 18 game run in 04/05 when they finished on 95 points was 46/54.Chelsea will finish top four sadly. Way above Liverpool at any rate. And that hurts saying.
Why worry about this shower of shite. The only team that worries me is Manchester United.Worried about these lot. Any half decent manager would have had these challenging this year.
True, those his record since has been poorIt is a title winning team.
Also, Hiddink only dropped 4 points last time he was at Chelsea. Not out of the question.
You had a better team last time around and there weren't so many decent teams in the prem last time around too.It is a title winning team.
Also, Hiddink only dropped 4 points last time he was at Chelsea. Not out of the question.
I would argue the top teams were better then. This year, every team is dropping points and 4th will be much lower then previous years. You had a better team last time around and there weren't so many decent teams in the prem last time around too.
Scholari was sacked because you lost to Liverpool and Man Utd. The title was between those two teams. So Hiddink missed 4 games against the best two teams in the league.I would argue the top teams were better then. Will it? Spurs are currently 4th, at around 36 points after 20 games. Unless it drastically lowers, then you'd expect that the final total needed for 4th will be near 70. It's certainly unlikely to drop below 65.I would argue the top teams were better then. This year, every team is dropping points and 4th will be much lower then previous years.
Arsenal were better then they are now and Spurs aren't that much better. The level of the league has gone down whilst the smaller teams have improved. I would say it is easier now to get 4th from where we are compared to that season.Scholari was sacked because you lost to Liverpool and Man Utd. The title was between those two teams. So Hiddink missed 4 games against the best two teams in the league.
The only top team you had to play in the league when Hiddink took over were Arsenal and Spurs. Both who were poor that season. Arsenal were miles off first. Spurs finished 8th.
Did you actually see the game? Got outplayed at times by S*unthorpe. It is a title winning team.
Also, Hiddink only dropped 4 points last time he was at Chelsea. Not out of the question.
I wasn't serious. Top 4 is gone for me. Just saying a title winning team going on a title winning run of form isn't impossible.Did you actually see the game? Got outplayed at times by S*unthorpe.
The chances are a couple of teams in the top 4 aren't going to play as well in the second half of the season vs the first half. Leicester and Spurs particularly. I wouldn't be at all surprised if 63-64 points got 4th this year, in which case Chelsea would need around 40 points in 18 games, which is definitely doable (12 wins, 4 draws, 2 losses). Will it? Yep basically what I was thinking. The chances are a couple of teams in the top 4 aren't going to play as well in the second half of the season vs the first half. Leicester and Spurs particularly. My top 4 is still Arsenal, Man City, United & Chelsea.
A 2-2 draw with Watford, a 0-0 with us and wins against Palace and Scunthorpe....Yep basically what I was thinking.
Chelsea players are actually playing like league champions over the last 3/4 games. Mourinho must have really fecked them off if they collectively voted on their feet to this extent.
I don't think they're playing like Champions, but if they continue this upward trajectory then they will be.Yep basically what I was thinking.

Any half decent manager would have us challenging in a poor league.Worried about these lot. Any half decent manager would have had these challenging this year.
Do you think there is no halfdecent manager in this league now then?Any half decent manager would have us challenging in a poor league.
Question for you. Is the team average or is the manager? (Talking about United).Do you think there is no halfdecent manager in this league now then?
Both are above average.Question for you. Is the team average or is the manager? (Talking about United).
Neither is it a title winning side this season. So is it a case of the manager holding back the team or the team not being good enough? Both are above average.
Bit of both. I'm hoping it won't be far away from a title winning title.Neither is it a title winning side this season. So is it a case of the manager holding back the team or the team not being good enough?
